Absolutely fantastic pizza! Dec 18 2025 at 3:30pm. The gentleman running the counter was extremely polite! The gentleman making the pizza was also very kind!!!! Top notch!!!

GO TO ANOTHER PIZZA PLACE INSTEAD. Like genuinely please, it was the most paper thin pizza I’ve purchased from an establishment and don’t get me started on how much they charge for it. Again the biggest issue is how thin it is, literal cardboard with very weak flavor. Wouldn’t mind paying what I did if the quality wasn’t so unbelievably flat.

It is a good solid NY pizza but its doesn't stand out as a great NY style pizza. The Sicilian is lacking in garlic and the NY is fairly bland.
The crust is great and the cheese is probably Grande, which is good but the sauce is unremarkable.
If I had more time, I would hit Backroom Pizza. My friend says its better.

Pizza comes in large slices that are ready to go when you walk up. The kitchen staff was nice. The man at the register was very rude to me and my friend and acted like we were an inconvenience. Not a great experience.
The place is trashed. There was stuff all over the floor and the tables were very dirty.

Literally the best pizza in Ann arbor. You can get pizza by the slice or a whole pie. They have many options as far as toppings. Nice thin crunchy crust with a little bit of char. The pictures on the walls of the famous people that have visited are super cool to check out as well. The staff is super friendly and service is quick.

Took my daughter down to the school of dentistry for a consultation and we ended up at Joe's pizza because she was hungry. I had a slice of pepperoni and she had a cheese slice. I've had a lot of pizza in my life and this was hands down the BEST pizza I've ever had. The crust was thin and airy and had the perfect amount of crunch. The sauce was slightly sweet and with just the right amount. The cheese tasted like it was fresh and the pepperoni was flavorful. Service was friendly and came with a smile. Considering that it was right next to the U of M campus the prices seemed fair. Plus you can't go wrong eating in the middle of everyone wearing maize and blue.

Walk in, pick your slice, they give it a quick warm up in the oven. The pizza is delicious! I'm sure when busy you'd have to plan on eating outside as the inside is quite small. But the pizza is legit NY style

I was not impressed at all. The sauce had no taste, barely any cheese or toppings on it. I’m sorry if I am spending that much on a pizza. It better be loaded with toppings, cheese and sauce.

Stopped by this place for a quick lunch. The pizza was decent, crust had a good crunch but could’ve used a bit more sauce for my taste. The staff was friendly and service was quick, which I appreciated. The place was clean and had a casual vibe, good spot for a simple meal if you’re nearby.
