The pictures on the wall are great to look at while you’re waiting for your order! And once you get that pizza, you gotta dig in right away because what’s not better when it’s fresh right? It’s a 40 minute drive for me and I’ll do it every time for a slice of pizza from here! 100%!!

I am a New Yorker, and like most with a negative response, I find the sauce blan. It used to be too sweet. There is absolutely no taste unless you add condiments. Like most restaurants in Ann Arbor, you get mediocre food that is overpriced. Attempted to reheat and the crust was too thin that it burnt and the lack of cheese did not melt. It was an insult to my taste buds. I will stick to making my own from scratch.

Definitely not the exact replica of the original Joe’s in the west village.Overall, it’s great pizza. And very similar to the original thing in most aspects. The dough in particular is great.BUT, the biggest difference, and this pizza’s weakest link, is the sauce. The sauce is overly sweet and lacks tang. Other than that, a reliably good slice of pizza.Pro tip: ask for slice to be “well-done”. Thank me later.
