We found them after a long search to cater our wedding in June 24. They jumped to accommodate our brunch catering request, and did so flawlessly.
The guests were extremely impressed with their ability to serve and maintain breakfast foods buffet style, and raved about the options and taste of all the food.
I would highly recommend them for anything you need. Despite being a little pricy, it was well worth the expense.

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Laiana and Tami this evening for a beautiful wedding in Dexter. I work in the wedding industry and have met countless catering companies, several a week. Not ONE has ever made me want to jump and leave a review because I want EVERYONE to know! These two women are master in their craft! Professional, so friendly, with just genuine good vibes that are becoming harder to find these days, and OH EM GEE the FOOD! I am witness to several catered events, weekly, and NO FOOD has EVER stood out! The potatoes, the beans and carriots, it’s like each was hand seletected, and when I tried this Lemon garlic Chicken? (I think) I’ve never had anything like it! It was so good!! Then o was able to sample the money honey salmon?(think that was the name? I was sad I’d already completely filled up on the chicken-that salmon is DEVINE!! Most wedding food I’ve had had little to no flavor, more like nursing home food, and what I just had is better than any five star restaurant I have dined, as far back as I can remember. It seriously might be one of the best chosen dishes I have ever eaten! Both salmon and chicken have SO much flavor! These ladies are incredible, they have not stopped moving since I arrived early this afternoon, there are no used dishes out on the tables, everything is clean and beautiful..and there is just the two of them! I’ve seen entire teams that would be unable to keep up with these two. I am adamant that people will forget the food, the venue, the gown but they’ll never forget the way you made them feel. Well, these ladies just proved me wrong, because not only will I remember how they made me feel included, we’re kind when they didnt have to be, and just all around made me feel good for being there, but I most certainly will also remember the food! I WILL be recommending nobody but Katherines from now on! Thank you you two for making my entire day and evening so much better!

Katherine's Catering did a fabulous job at our 50th wedding Anniversary on August 11 2023. The food was exceptional especially the Prime Rib and the summer squash risotto. Chicken also was yummm! And the dessert shooters...highly recommend!Antoinette was our event planner. She coordinated everything including the beautiful linens, chargers, tent etc. The servers and bartenders were all very pleasant and orofessional. Wonderful to work with. Katherine’s is the best caterer in Ann Arbor. They manage a big holiday party for me including food, tables, chairs, linens, serving and clean up. I actually have fun at my party! I highly recommend.

I attended a dear friend's daughter's wedding last night at Lyon Oak's Banquet Center. I have experienced Katherine's Catering a number of times over the years, always receiving a 5-star experience. Last night was terrible.There was no visible supervisor or manager on duty overseeing flow of service, the venue or quality control. The bar was not staffed properly making service frustratingly slow and delaying the bridal entry and foodservice. The food servers, while friendly, were not properly trained and were painfully slow. The salads were limp, the rolls cold, chicken & beef were overcooked & luke warm at best. The ice cream was never served; left to melt in glass racks around the ball room. The wedding cake was cut up and placed on a table with no announcement from anyone that it was served...same with the pretzel station (also luke warm). The FOB's table was served last, 1.5 hours after the head table was served. Little Caesars pizzas appeared on their table. I am not sure if they ordered them themselves or if it was a botched pizza station that arrived before dinner service was even complete. The dinner dishes were left on tables far too long, so long that the family actually cleared their own tables. Bathrooms were not cleaned throughout the evening; running out of paper towels, toilet paper and trash overflowing.ALL OF THIS was not acceptable. A wedding is a once in a lifetime experience. Many years of thoughts and dreams from the wedding couple and their families go into the planning of this day. Weddings are made up of a thousand details, many of which were missed. I know how frustrated and disappointed the Mother-of-the-bride and many others were last night. There is no amount of money in a refund or an apology that can fix or compensate all of the wrongs that occurred that took away from this service and F&B experience. Katherine's Catering you are better than this.
