Not worth the visit compared to other ice cream shops nearby. The ice cream is way too sweet and is expensive compared to other ice cream places in the area. Other shops in the area have a greater range of flavors and are far more palatable. Go to Michigan Creamery or Blank Slate and don't bother going here.

Not autistic child friendly.
My sister and her husband were rudely asked by an employee to leave after my 5 year old nephew was excited and got loud in his excitement.
If you can't handle children being loud, maybe you're in the wrong business.
So parents, be warned - if your kids make any noise you'll be asked to leave.
If I could leave 0 stars, I would.

Not an autistic friendly establishment! My son was very happy and yes a little loud and this old mean short hair lady yells at my son. It’s an ice cream shop for kids they will be loud. Not disability friendly!!!!!!

After how an employee at this location treated my sister and her family, I will never visit this or any other location again. My sister and her family were told to leave because my 5 year old autistic nephew was making loud noises because he was excited. Disappoints me to see this is not an uncommon thing - many bad reviews on Google about parents being told to leave because of children making noise. An ice cream shop/candy store SHOULD be child and disability friendly. To the "Karen" employee who yelled at my nephew - maybe this type of business and work isn't for you.

Not bad, just enormously overpriced. This is more about experience than taste, because everything is fine, but it isn't better than fine. The chocolates are eye-wateringly expensive, but won't beat the upper shelf items you can get at a grocery store, especially given the quality of selection available in the local area. It's charming, but there's better places to get your treats.

Went here with my wife to buy chocolates for our family, there were five people in the store and they watched us with disinterest as they talked and we waited at the counter with a pile of over 100 dollars worth of stuff. We must’ve stood there for 10-15 mins before walking out. Never going back again.

I got a huge bag of taffy from here a couple weeks ago. It was kind of mid. I think because they are all sealed in a bag they all taste the same. I was bummed to walk a block away and find a candy store with an entire wall of pick your own taffy.

[Belated review] Had a tough day in Ann Arbor when I came across this store with so many great offerings. It was one of those big days of gifting so I wanted a chocolate box shipped across the country, but I didn't have the right message just yet. Little did I know, the staff was so diligent as to follow up exactly 24 hours later via phone (never had that at any other franchise) to check in about my message.Overall, the gift arrived on the exact date in perfect condition. The chocolate was so good that the recipient still has not finished until that date of this review (2 months later) because they did not want the goodness to finish so easily. Thanks to the Juliette and the team who worked with her during that time!

Really good fudge and ice cream (probably the best fudge I’ve had), great service and atmosphere, it’s probably my favorite shop to buy unhealthy things. Go now.

This is the only place I can find chocolates with raspberry mousse inside anymore. The by the pound options at the counter are fantastic, I can choose whatever I want so no more chocolate boxes with flavors at the end I don’t like!

We went here for dessert for our anniversary and I am so glad we did. We’ve loved every Kilwin’s shop we’ve been too, but this one, while small, carried so much of that old Ann Arbor charm. The inside was the most unique I’ve been too, and the little tables by the window allowed us to sit and watch the street and the rain while we enjoyed our ice cream. It was really lovely. The waffle cones and ice cream was wonderful here. The shop is divided into two, and next door we got some treats to bring home. The snapper probably could have used a touch more salt or roasting, but it was huge and very good. I am so glad we came here and would definitely go again.

Dietary restrictions: This location shares surfaces with milk, wheat, and nuts.

Parking: There is very limited street parking. We ended up having to go to a paid parking garage.

Kid-friendliness: Not only did we bring our own baby, but we saw a number of other families come and go while we were there. The ice cream and chocolate treats are good for many ages.
