Highly allergic to sesame
.. was told none of the dishes I ordered had any sesame in them..... spent the night in ER due to severe reactions... will never be back and will recommend anywhere else. Especially since waitstaff clearly does not know their own menu

Oh, Seoul Street, I miss you. I'm not sure if today was an off day for Kimchi Box, but this was not a positive experience. The door's still not fixed, for one. They also forgot the radish we ordered with the chicken, even though it was on the receipt. But the chicken was the real disappointment. Even the dark meat was dry and stringy, and the soy garlic glaze lacked the oomph of Seoul Street. Not worth the $39. One star because at least everything was ready when I came to pick it up.

(Background: My son is deathly allergic to sesame. We found out after he ate some tahini when he was 2 and ended up in the emergency room.)

I called ahead before placing an order for my birthday to ensure there weren't allergens in our food. The manager kindly confirmed no egg or sesame in the chicken or sauces, but they put sesame seeds on top of the soy garlic wings. But I could add a memo requesting no sesame. I did this.

We got the wings for my birthday party, and no sesame seeds easily visible on top of the pile. Everyone is eating, and about halfway through sesame seeds everywhere. We then spent the last half of my birthday monitoring my son with an epi pen waiting for the possibilty that he will need to go to the hospital.

Thankfully he's ok.

Seoul Street would never have done this. Their wings were better. Kimchi Box changed the recipes and while they're still good, they're not as good.

But never again will I order there for my family.

Dietary restrictions: Don't eat here if you need accommodations. They will tell you they've made them, but didn't trust them. They either have no idea what they're talking about, or they will ignore you.

Kid-friendliness: I would say not the most kid friendly. Could have killed my son.

Kimchi was good
Food overall was ok, probably should have just went to a more local place.

Few seating for indoor which it was raining. It smelt like sewage inside so not the best place you want to eat in.

Great Korean fried chicken wings, even if overpriced. Rated 4 stars because the owner constantly parks his truck with ball hitch sticking out right in front of the handicapped walking path.

I love their chicken. But last order was wrong. I ordered one taste but I got two tastes in the box. Except the mistake, I am satisfied with the food.

Great food and the price was reasonable. I was able to try the kimchi fries, dukboki, and the bulgogi burger. Will try again!

I had the kimchi fries and the kimchi tofu taco, and the food was really great. Crispy fries and very good flavors. It all would’ve been five stars if it weren’t for the fact that everything was in Styrofoam. That seems completely wasteful and unnecessary when one is dining in

I was a loyal fan of Seoul Street, and am sad to see it replaced with Kimchi Box. The chicken does not compare in quality to its predecessor. The glaze for the chicken is fsr too sweet, the chicken is so much smaller, and the double fry method doesnt come through as well. It's not somewhere I'll be returning to personally, not because its bad, but it doesnt fulfill that same craving for korean double fried chicken Seoul Street nailed.

Got an assortment of things to try... maybe I picked the wrong stuff. Didn't care for the chicken, too chewy. Kimbap was meh. Liked the toppings on my bulgogi taco, but not the bulgogi. Didn't get my corn salad that was supposed to come with my chicken. Not sure if I would give a second try.
