Overall good but not as good as what I was expecting. Steak was ok, not perfect meat, but crispy shrimp appetizer was good. Broccoli soup was good too. Many people already there from 5:30 pm

I’ve never had a bad experience at Knight’s. Food is always fantastic (steaks always cooked correctly) the drinks are very big, and the service is always fast and friendly. It can be a bit loud during dinner but that’s because it’s always packed. If you’re visiting from out of town or even local like me, I’d highly recommend this place.

Met a friend at the Dexter road location today for lunch. This was are first visit and surely won't be the last. Service was great, the food was outstanding and we saved room for desert. Excellent pricing for the quality and quantity of food. We were really impressed with the Dutch soup. A plus all the way.

Richard!

I went to visit Ann Arbor Tuesday just to see it, I’d never been to Michigan so I used my day off to drive over from Pittsburgh. Knight’s was going to be one of my stops, I had to have dinner here. I heard about it from Dave Janda on WAAM TALK 1600. This place is must visit! I highly recommended Knight’s! Arrived at 8pm, busy, hostess told me a twenty minute wait, sat at the bar, They have great quick service, good prices, outstanding food, simple decor(focus on food and service), atmosphere calm, warm, inviting light. It’s nice seeing a restaurant that moves like a well-oiled machine.??? I had the chicken gumbo, came out piping hot, then I ordered the French onion soup, got the filet mignon(med-rare), it was a little rare for me, they fixed it right away. Side of rice pilaf(seasoned perfectly), sautéed veg fresh, perfectly cooked. I should’ve tried the mussels.? Flourless chocolate cake for dessert.? I had two drinks. I would’ve loved to try more food! Lorraine, David, and Don were great! Good luck Lindsay! I can see why people keep coming back. Forty years of outstanding service to Ann Arbor! What a gem! You gotta go! Thanks Knight’s, I’ll be coming back soon.

Vegetarian options: For a steakhouse, they’ve got plenty of veggie alternatives that would fill anybody’s belly.

Parking: The lot was more than half full when I arrived, when I left more spaces had opened up.

Great steak, had the bone-in Ribeye. Service was good. Was sat upstairs and it felt a bit cramped, but good overall.

It is one of the best burgers in town and not a smash-burger. Flame-grilled, smokey, and juicy.
Interior ambiance is a bit dated, but that's part of the charm for locals.

Ordered a simple take out order online at 6:20 pm for pickup. It said the order would be ready at 6:50. I arrived at 6:40 to catch it the moment it was ready. The host took my name so she could call me when it was ready. A little later she seemed to hand off to someone and then disappeared. I could see where the take out orders were coming out of the kitchen and being carried to the host station. I figured I’d see it come out. I waited politely because they were a bit busy, but 6:50 came and went. 6:55. 7:00. I finally asked the new host about my order. She asked my name. She went around and through some back door. She came out with a bag with my order, now just kind of warm. She handed it to me without a word. I said, admittedly a tad snarky, “So it’s been sitting around ready for a while?” She didn’t answer. I left with the bag. I ate in the car on the way home so as not to lose any more of the remaining … warmth.
I probably won’t be going back.
