Expect to wait in a line about an aisle long as they can't even manage to have all their self checkout stations open.
At the self checkout the monitor shows assistance needed. A Clerk came checked the cctv video to check if we stole anything right there. They see their paying customers potential criminals. What a shameful retail store! Not sure they have legal right to do or catch some theifs but for sure they are losing innocent good customers.
Besides the lady at the self check out is rude and their meat/fish deparment area smells like rotten fish.
My valid 2023 issued NY ID didn’t scan at the self checkout line, so my attendant didn't allow me to purchase alcohol. This is the only time my ID has given me issues. Instead of offering to try it again on a different machine, my order was abruptly taken away, leaving me to feel dismissed and frustrated. Should I bring my passport next time? Fix your system or offer an alternative solution.
Avoid this Kroger like the plague! I truly hate coming to this store. They ONLY have self checkouts and this seems to slow everything down. They simply refuse to have cashiers and instead expect you to do all of the scanning — free labor. I wish Aldi weren’t so far away from my apartment because I hate this place
One of the automatic doors has been broken for like 2 weeks. I don't care, who cares, it'll get fixed eventually and that's fine. But put up a bigger sign or something. Put a cone in front of the door. Stack the carts in front of the door. All there is is a standard printer size piece of paper that is completely illegible until you're almost smacking your face into the broken automatic door, and then having to walk all the way to the other side. It's seriously the craziest thing in the world that for two weeks every time I come I see people almost run into the door.
I have shopping at Kroger for 40 years. But ever since they launched the digital coupons , kroger has turned me off. Either you give me the deal or not, I can never jump though those computer loops to win the coupons. The prices in the store has gone up and up. Besides inflation, the discouragement of seniors should have contribute to the decrease of the store sale. Make thing easy, will you? That should make your grocery easy to sell.
A mediocre branch of Kroger, always understaffed and messy. Their fruit selection was limited and the quality/price wasn’t very good either.
All the reviews before mine said it all. This place is horrendously managed.
Waited for customer service for 15 minutes. Couldn't get a single worker to help the line at customer service. Didn't have enough people working check out. Halloween candy was dumped in boxes with prices on it that didn't match when I went to check out. Overall, avoid this kroger if at all possible.
Just two self checkouts open with both lines having over 30 people in them 10/27/24. 3pm

Terrible wait times. 10-30 mins to just check out. And sometime the deal prices aren’t even real. They just put the signs with the deals on it, but on the check out screen isn’t even available with your card and digital coupons. So many lies…
Fire this store manager. This store is consistently understaffed and under managed. The employees are trying hard to keep up with sub standard management practices and lack of support. This is a terrible location. They have replaced cashiers with “automation” that has made it miserable for the customer. Other franchises seem to be innovating and all this location cares about is shrinking labor costs. Hire more people, train them properly, and treat the customer like you would want them to return. If you don’t, you will ultimately fail.
somehow always has a long line for checkout and some of the self checkouts closed. mediocre selection for groceries.
I wish I could give this zero stars. Also wish I had checked the reviews before stopping in. And wish that there were clerks at the registers.
On a Friday night at 5:30pm, people lined up down the aisles waiting for the self-checkouts. It looked less like shoppers ready to spend their hard-earned money, than it looked like the first day of employee orientation with nearly a hundred people waiting in line!
Questions: Do benefits come with this job? When do I get my paycheck as a clerk/baggage? I get paid for doing two jobs?
Well, since I already have a job, I won't be working here again...
Or shopping here.
Horrible!! This store started to go to hell the moment Julia walked in and became the new store manager. Just awful! All the departments are horrible!! I've been told Ann Arbor stores have someone special looking into why they are so terrible. Well....start here!!
