The idea of brisket Mac and cheese sounded great. I ordered this from Little Mac Shack via Grub Hub. I've had brisket mac and cheese from other places, but this was a disappointment. Let's start with the fact that if mac and cheese is the main dish, it should probably be packaged in a container that can maintain its integrity with macaroni and cheese that is made up of mostly sauce. When my food arrived to my job from the delivery driver, half of my food was on the bottom of the plastic bag and the top of the environmentally friendly container was on the verge of being torn off when I attempted to open it. I mentioned that the macaroni was extremely saucy. The consistency of the dish left a lot to be desired. And the overall taste of the cheese sauce over powered any evidence of barbecue. And the barbecue sauce that was present, served more as a garnish than anything else. Not to mention, there was very little brisket. This dish had the potential to be awesome. Hopefully, they do more to improve the taste and presentation of their food, especially when it is being carried out or delivered.

If you're picking up, go inside Haymaker to get your food. Very confusing at first. But the BBQ Brisket Mac was awesome!
