Great portions!! I got the Paneer Tikka Masala and it comes with rice, but I would recommend getting another side order of rice/naan because there’s just so much good sauce. I ordered takeout and they even gifted me a little cake slice. Really happy to see them thriving in the new location

Food was delicious. I got the lamb pasanda with naan bread and keema samosas. Service was ok, atmosphere was definitely a bit weak, nothing on the walls, almost an industrial look 🤨

the hostess was very sweet and thoughtful. But the food! very poor in taste. i ordered chicken lollipop-a batter coated, deep fried pieces. in this case the batter was very thin and the chicken overfried, thus destroying the taste. I ordered madras masala lamb curry. the curry was watery and bland. very few pieces of actual meat. felt cheated. I have had the same dishes in the broadway outlet-excellent taste and quality. how can two outlets of same brand have such difference in taste and quality. please fire the cook. additionally, the main person in charge was throwing tantrum on his employees and spoiling appetites of everyone else. if he is the owner-he is peeing in his pond.

Madras (the original one just off State St) was our favorite Indian place in town so we were quite upset when it burned down. Thankfully, Madras is back here and at the Packard location, with a revamped menu. Flavors are just as good as the original. Seating is not as plentiful—it’s more of a takeout than a dine in place—and no buffet anymore, but it’s wonderful to see Madras back.

The food at this restaurant is good but this review is about their charge of 3.5% as a Card Processing Fee without disclosing it. You should clearly disclose the surcharge to customers before they pay, either on the menu or at the point of sale.

The food is not bad, but I ordered my dish medium plus and there was absolutely no spice, tasted like the same spice level as ketchup.. it was more like children's mild. At least the portion was pretty good.
Best so far in Michigan. Generous portions and delicious flavors. Highly recommend.

Their Hakka noodle is so yummy!! I’ve ordered take out a few times, mostly vegetarian entrees, always fresh and nicely prepared. I do think they are doing much better than most of the Indian restaurants in town. Highly recommend!!!

Delicious! I was super excited to see that my favorite Indian restaurant in Ann Arbor opened on the north side of town. We've now ordered take-out two nights in a row, and it did not disappoint. We chose some naan two of the items that come with rice, and it was more than enough to satisfy me and my two kids.

Not a real Madras meal. Do they cook here or just warm it up? The dosa was good, but chutney was spoiled and the soup had a funny smell as well. The lassi was really good

Ordered from Madras Masala Express for a party and everything was wonderful. The food was fresh, delicious, and a big hit with our guests. They even made a custom dish that wasn’t on the menu, and everyone loved it. Solid 5-star experience—highly recommend.
