As loyal Michigan Alumi, we have come to Mani since 2019. Sometimes we bring our kids for the football games. We have had perfect experiences at Mani every time until tonight. After spending at the bar and thoughtfully cashing out there to support the bar servers, we were placed with a terrible server because we had kids with us (14 and 11 YO). Bre was slow and inattentive. Our Tartufo order was wrong. We were mostly ignored even though we were celebrating our son's birthday. On exit, the host staff were mostly too busy to speak to us. We suggest checking recent reviews for potential decline before going to Mani.

Mani Osteria is the kind of place that reminds you why dining out can be pure joy. The focaccia is a must, warm, airy, and made unforgettable with that heavenly honey butter (10/10, do not skip it). The pizza was a deluxe brick oven experience, perfectly charred, flavorful, and balanced in every bite.
The shrimp scampi was amazing, cooked to perfection with a buttery garlic sauce that deserves its own round of applause. And the handmade pasta was pure artistry, silky, fresh, and bursting with flavor. It is what I would call “flavor on God mode.”
Our waitress was genuinely surprised we had never been before, and honestly, who hasn’t? After that meal, I completely understood why. Mani Osteria delivers from start to finish with food that makes you slow down and savor every bite. If you haven’t been yet, go. You’ll get it.

Great place, nice lighting and atmosphere. The service was great. The Tartufo pizza was out of this world! We did add pepperoni to it also. In addition, we had the Quattro Formaggi pizza plus sausage, which was also pretty good. Highly recommend and will return.

We tried to stop in Friday night for dinner but it was a long wait so we tried our luck again on Saturday, and there was no wait and we were seated right by the kitchen! The experience of watching them cook and interacting with the chefs was amazing. The pizza was DELICIOUS and when we told them we were celebrating our anniversary they surprised us with champagne and dessert on the house. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Ann Arbor!

Pricey but pretty good overall. Starters were good: focaccia, chop salad with salami, and pickled tomatoes (bruschetta). Red onion pistachio pizza was a must try. Peach pizza was decent but not as flavorful. Desserts varied - affogato and budino were very good. Tiramisu was a bit dry. Service was good overall. Decent draft beer selection.

Beer is warm. Ice is 2.99-5.99 a bag. Get it together. Beer should be 38 degrees, especially when they charge $7+ for everything on the menu. Also not everyone wants Oberon or two hearted. Get something local. Foods is decent. But this place is for people who want to ball out for mediocre everything. Ngl sitting at the bar I just want to leave and go somewhere better.

I’ve looked forward to visiting mani for many years now. What better day than my birthday. We arrived and got seated in front of the chefs. What a delight! It was fun not super loud but fun to see the pizzas made in front of you. Our food was fast and delicious. The pizza is something I would come back for but the pasta was slightly overcooked. I prefer it that way honestly but my partner did not. We also had the meatballs and the sauce was great! But underwhelming meatball. Thank you mani for a great night. Sangria is a must
