I had side salad, and had best dressing I've possibly eaten creamy garlic. Im mad at my self for getting hamburger, and fries, they were good, but I've never eaten at German restaurant, and should of tried something new there.
We went in on a Saturday evening after hearing about this German place from a coworker. The atmosphere was pretty relaxed and not overly crowded which was nice. I tried the schnitzel with potato salad and it tasted fresh and filling. The portion size was decent too, I actually had some left to take home. My friend ordered sausages with sauerkraut and said it was good, though the mustard was a bit stronger than he expected. Service was polite and they checked on us a couple times....
have been going to Metzgers since I was a teen - so let’s call it 40 years. They used to be in downtown Ann Arbor and I would go with my parents and grandparents. I love Metzgers and will continue to dine here for decades to come, bringing my children and grandchildren.
