Mikette has the best sea food in AA!! We always order shrimp cocktail as appetizer. The burger is also yummy and decent amount!

So I have mixed feelings about Mikette. I really had high hopes going in, given that they are owned by the same people who own Mani and Isalita, which are both fabulous restaurants in their own right, and while everything was okay, the experience didn't live up to the expectation. The restaurant itself is very nice and elegantly furnished, giving off the French cafe vibe that I think they were going for. The items on the menu were a bit pricier than I imagined, but not outlandish. When our food came the presentation was lovely, but the taste was not exactly as expected. My duck bolognese didn't taste very much like a bolognese (hard to explain, sorry for lack of detail) and wasn't extremely satisfying, personally. My bf's ratatouille was not actually a ratatouille at all, just some diced veggies, and he said it was lacking flavor. However, there were some high points. I really liked my drink and my sister hers, and my sister's soup was good, according to her. However, I will say it's hard to mess up french onion soup, so I'm not overly impressed. Overall we had a decent experience, and I could see coming here again, but I wouldn't order the same thing, and for my wallet's sake I might not be back for a while.

This was a delightful surprise to my day. Our team had planned to go to a different restaurant, but due to some time constraints, we ended up at Mikette. I had never been, and I was very pleased with this trip. The atmosphere was quite lovely, the temperature was comfortable and it was not noisy like many other places. The Jambon Buerre was splendid, the Dijon was delicious and the baguette was the perfect combination of crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I would definitely return to Mikette. I want to try dinner, next!

For a recent brunch date with some girlfriends, someone suggested Mikette and we all agreed that it sounded delicious. As the saying goes, great minds think alike, and this was one brunch time that didn't disappoint. Tucked back in a corner of a shopping center on Plymouth, Mikette offers French-inspired cuisine in an elegant but relaxed setting. On the Sunday of our visit, we were promptly greeted and shown to our seats. Our server took our drink orders (Pomegranate Fizz for me and bottomless mimosas for the friend who had a ride that day!) A short time later, our beverages arrived. I highly recommend the Pomegranate Fizz that I had -- it was sweet and refreshing without being syrupy and looked even more elegant than the mimosas across the table from me. I sprung for something savory come mealtime with the Croque Mikette -- their take in the classic French Croque Madame sandwich. With thick slices of bread, a creamy Gruyère and truffled Monday sauce and an egg to top it off, it was plenty filling on its own but kept me full until supper time with the shoestring potatoes on the side. I had a great inaugural visit to Mikette, and hope that my next trip there isn't too far in the future!

Small portion sizes, mediocre food, high prices and cramped seating... What's not to like? Everything about this place, from the location, to the parking and the quality of the dining experience screams "you're getting ripped off!"

we tried a little of everything, the escargo was tasty and the creme brulee was yummy.

I enjoyed the atmosphere and the menu options. Like the hours state there are times when the kitchen is closed but you can still be served at the bar. I found the drink menu unique, the happy hour menu reasonable and the entree menu gave variety without too many options. I tried the French Onion Soup which was one of the best I have eaten. The service wasn't as attentive as I would have expected (why 4 instead of 5 stars) which was reflected in the tip but I would be willing to give it another try.

My dad was visiting and he wanted seafood, so we went to Mikette. I'm trying to eat vegan and so I ordered the grilled eggplant ratatouille main dish (I don't know if it's 100% vegan but it was the only vegetable main dish). I wasn't expecting to be wowed, but it was AMAZING! Maybe just a little too salty, but it was really delicious for how simple of a dish it was. Family and husband were happy with there dishes as well.

Very good French bistro! In Arbor visiting colleges and alumni recommended this place. Wait staff is so pleasant and knowledgeable! Great burger! Onion soup was a little salty but good. Steak frites was very gOod. Well prepared served over lots of frites. The French fries are match stick style and super. Green salad was fresh with nice amount of dressing. Chocolate mousse is homemade as it the whipped cream on top, which is excellent.

I went there during restaurant week and did the three-course meal, which was great. I had never heard of this restaurant prior to restaurant week, but I'm so glad I went. We had a large party, and the staff was very accommodating, and our waitress was outstanding. The crab cake was so good, and the beef Burgundian was great as well. I can't wait to take my finance there.

For some reasons, I can't seem to be able to get a table there. I like to go places at the last minute and they are always full. Is it a good thing? I would not agree. I won't beg for a spot...
