bad service. I was on a call, and the waiter/waitress just keeps interrupting me, although their restaurant is not busy at all at that time.

It was great!

The Casio e Pepe tkkekkboki was sooo tasty and amazingly buttery and crispy. Why was the broccolini so flavorful and crisp- it’s quite insane how they did that. Worth the price!

The food is terrible and is a rip off.

Korean Fried chicken: The most disappointing dish is the korean fried chicken. Nearly 30 bucks for 4 TINY pieces of pale, super dry, shriveled up chicken, with one of the four pieces seem like a piece or chicken breast sliced in 1/3 (actual rip off). I would pay 4 dollars for this realistically.

Duck bibimbap: You generally can’t go wrong with bibimbap but a 31 dollar bibimbap should not be so bad. Plus the rice is soggy and (kind of smelly??), they load up the rice but the duck meat portion is tinyyyyy.

Absolutely not, do better

Loved this place. Great vegan options, including the delicious royale style tteokbokki.

If you like weird food choices this is the place. Bring lots of money

One of the better restaurants I’ve tried in A2! The ribs were very good as was the broccolini in caramel fish sauce.

This is my new favorite restaurant in Ann Arbor. We had a group of 9 for my birthday, including 2 young kids. I love Korean food, and this is the best I've ever had. The quality of every single item was outstanding, but what takes the prize is the Korean fried chicken. So scrumptious it melts off the bone. Our server Alex was friendly, attentive, and patient. The vibe is very trendy, but it's still welcoming to families. Loud enough that we didn't feel awkward or disruptive with the kids. We will definitely return.

We got the cacio e pepe tteokbokki, duck ssam, and pork belly kimchi fried rice. The food was overpriced for the quality and definitely lacking the vibrancy of typical Korean fare. The kimchi fried rice was soggy (seemed like fresh rice and too much oil) as well as lacking flavor relative to other restaurants I’ve been to. The duck breast was cooked to perfection but was served with only two half perilla leaves - the rest was lettuce and red cabbage, which was unpleasantly bitter. The soy butter rice did not have much soy flavor and was also somewhat soggy due to the butter. The tteokbokki was objectively good, but the lack of sauce and flavor made it less reminiscent of typical tteok. The restaurant had a nice, cozy vibe but there were also a couple fruit flies bothering us throughout the meal. It seems as though the restaurant is catered towards people unfamiliar with Korean food, and the price (as many other reviews have mentioned) is definitely a deterring factor. I would recommend any other Korean-owned restaurant that prioritizes authenticity over adapting cultural food for fine dining.

The food was absolutely amazing, and I really love the vibes of the restaurant! I also have a sesame allergy and staff did a wonderful job of accommodating it and I deeply appreciate the wonderful humans working there!

Tried two dishes: beef bibimba and sautee snapper. Need a little salt on beef & fish + more veggies on both dishes.
Service is very good and fast.
This is not really traditional Korean food. But the food is very unique and a bit higher price than most Korean restaurants in town.

It was my first time visiting here and I was excited to try Korean food in Michigan. The atmosphere and interior were great. My friend and I ordered Napa Cabbage Kimchi, a Beef Bowl, and a Tofu & Mushroom Bowl. However, all the Korean food we ordered was NOT authentic at all. Also, compared to the price of the food you pay, the portion was very small and the food was very disappointing. I think it’s best to describe the place as an Asian fusion restaurant rather than purely Korean restaurant.

For reference, if you want to try an authentic Korean food, I recommend Tomukun BBQ.

Fun menu. I recommend the crispy potatoes for their use of corn starch (I think) to create a crispy outside and a moist inside. In the same thread, the tteokbokki also has a crispy outside and a moist inside for the rice cakes, although the flavor could use more punch.

Then the rest of the dishes had no punch. The kalbi was lacking in caramelization (so no deep sweet taste) and marination (so no deep salty taste). The little gem lettuce had too much fruit that contrasted with the expectation of a leafy side. The kimchi was softer and felt older. Same for the carrot salad.

So a chance at highlights but in the end not to the standard of solid Korean fare.
