Such a great place to eat out at! The food comes out fairly quickly but the presentation is flawless and beyond delicious.
All menu items are worth trying at least once. Very much looking forward to coming back! Only thing I'd love to see is more varied local art on the walls!
10 out 10!!!

Fantastic Korean food! The smashed potatoes, fried cheese and lotus root were so delicious. The japchae was to die for! As Indians, we're used to spicy and savory food and Miss Kim hits the right spot. I'll definitely come back again đ

When looking for best food in AnnArbor, Miss Kimâs popped up time and time again, after giving it a try, it is safe to say I was not missing out. Although being one of the most expensive menu items, the beef short rib was mostly fat and not very flavorful. The Korean fried chicken was cold, soggy, and dry. Sad to say the best things I ate were the smashed potatoes and rice. Overall the flavors do not do the price justice.

People kept telling me how good the food was at Miss Kimâs. Sadly, it was mostly overrated and overhyped. DO NOT get the short rib, very small and 98% fat. The fried chicken was worse than something like bonchon and somehow was still dry even though it was chicken thighsâŠ.. even so, the smashed potatoes and the rice were the best parts. Much better âhigherâ end korean food in Ann Arbor for a much cheaper price.

Miss Kim is awesome! I havenât had a ton of Korean food in my life so this was a fantastic spot to try some classic dishes with a Midwest spin on it.
Favorites by far are the soy butter rice (I could eat ten bowls of this), Korean Fried chicken (both flavors are great but spicy option slightly better), Crispy Broccolini, Kimchi Pork Fried Rice, and Smashed Potatoes.
We also got the short rib, tteokbokki in the street style and cacio e Pepe style, short rib, and cauliflower. All were really good, only miss for me was the cauliflower but Iâm just not much of a fan of cauliflower in general.
Family style is the way to go here, we went with four people and still had a few leftovers with everything we ordered. Definitely a gem of Ann Arbor, if I am ever back in town Iâll definitely be visiting!

The food and drink were delicious. Recommend the French 75 cocktail, smashed potatoes, fried cheese, and street style tteokbokki. Service was outstanding. Super friendly and fun atmosphere.

Not very sanitary. I found a hair in something that I ordered and will definitely not be ordering again. I already have a hard time ordering from restaurants because Iâm a germaphobe and this sealed it for me.

All I can say is that it was an underwhelming experience. Iâd heard great things but the appetizer portions were tiny and nothing had any flavor. Oh and itâs super over priced. Yeah not worth imo

Honestly, my favorite item was the cacio e pepe tteokbokki. It was a little crispy with a savory hint. The pickled onion and green onion really helped balance it.
A got the duck bimbimbop. The duck was great as it was medium rare and crispy. However, it was cut a little large for bite size with the rice. I would suggest asking them to cut it thinner. More importantly, the stone pot was not enough because I barely had any crispy rice at the bottom. I even waited about a minute to let it crisp up some more. There was no rice parts that was even browned up. Also, it lacked sauce use. I used all that was given.
Server was great. Talked to the hostess 3 like 3 seperate time and she act like she didnât know what I wanted each time⊠I came by myself.

I ordered the duck Bi Bim Bop. The price on this dish was $35. The duck was way over cooked. You cannot have a $35 dish on the menu and not execute on the star ingredient. Also, one of the key elements of Bi Bim Bop is the fried egg. It was buried somewhere in the dish, but no taste of it.

Couldn't quite tell what my money went towards but other people seemed to love it. A little pretentious.

It took me a long time to think whether to write this review or not. I watched the interview of the owner, read the story she wrote on the menu and try to form a story around her food. It was more than disappointing. I would give negative stars if I could. Iâm puzzled as to why the restaurant still exists.
The owner is an immigrant who told the story of wanting to bring the taste of authentic Korean food based on her memories of what she ate during her childhood. I sympathise her story since I had similar upbringing.
If you are going to use your immigrant story to sell the food as âfood from childhoodâ, then, donât try to create food that is fusion with a westernised twist. Even if you want to do your own take on it, make it edible and delicious. The taste of the food should be able to tell the root of the presented culture itself but this restaurant failed in that aspect.
Most importantly, if you are opening an Asian restaurant, the bare minimum is to serve an edible bowl of rice! The soy butter rice was so so salty that it was practically INEDIBLE. The rest of the food were mediocre, inauthentic and overpriced. The portion was way too small.
I had a great expectation for an Asian restaurant owned and ran by an immigrant with established background in culinary art. However, I left the restaurant still hungry, very unhappy, and feel scammed by the âchildhoodâ story. I couldnât even eat more than 2 scoops of a salty bowl of soy butter rice!!
