We tried this place because of the hype. We had the potato and hot Cheetos dogs. The potato dog was better than the Cheetos. Mind you it is highly recommended. We also tried the green apple lemonade which was sour at first but very good and we also tried the Ube. Both were very delicious. Price point was good. We didn't try any doughnuts because we came later in the day and they only had 3 flavors. We wanted to try the ones they didn't have. So we will visit back again.

This place was super cute. It's located near UM North Campus and it's one of the only places I found ube, my favorite desert flavor from the Philippines! It has very cute decorations. There are places to sit and enjoy. From top to bottom for donuts: ube donut, chocolate, churro with chocolate drizzle. I only at the ube and loved it! My bf had the other two and he approves! The ube boba tea was a little too sweet to me but I still love the taste.I got the potato covered mozzarella stick and it taste just like ones I had in LA.Last but certainly not least, the service was super helpful and gave great recommendations. With three donuts, boba and the dog/mozzarella stick, I spent about $25-$26.

Mochinut is a must try if you find yourself on the north side of Ann Arbor. I highly recommend the strawberry and cookies & cream mochi donuts. Original is great too if you like a plain donut. The strawberry lemonade with popping boba is excellent as well. Huge pros with the variety of payment options as you can order online for pickup or delivery, and in person at the register or via touch screen. Cons would be you have to order 3+ donuts which is only a small con in my opinion as they're not too filling. Another small con is their straws don't fit very nicely with their drink lids. Only a problem if you need a straw for boba. The service is quick and they'll send you a text once your orders ready if you provide a phone number. Plenty of seating and this location was not very busy the handful of times we've visited.

First, a note, mochi = rice flour. Mochinut = mochi donut. The hotdogs on the menu are explicitly labeled Rice Hotdog. Of course they’re going to be different than a dunkin donut or a corn dog! (These are not gluten/wheat free however. Check the website for details.)Our experience was great. We read the recent reviews and decided to give them a shot anyway, tempering our expectations a bit. Glad we did.We decided to go early, like 10 minutes after they opened at 11 AM on Saturday, to hedge our bets for freshness. We went right to the ordering panel - which is off to the side of the counter queue and the default screen is a glossy image with a smaller Order Here in text so I can see how others overlooked it. However, the people who came in after us went right to the counter and were helped in the same timeframe we were ordering. They weren’t turned away or told to wait to use the panel, so perhaps that practice has stopped. We ordered an original cheese stick and an original potato stick for $6 and $5.75 respectively. Reasonable. We also bought a dozen donuts…for $34! And a strawberry lemonade and peach lemonade with boba for $4.99 and $5.49.Donuts and lemonades came out first and were brought to us. Staff member was pleasant and said the hotdogs would be out shortly. Donuts looked great and were delicious. The shape also makes them very shareable. The beads pull apart easily. We tried the original, the churro, the choco churro, the chocolate, and the ube. (All the flavors appear to be in the glaze/frosting, not in the dough, just fyi.) Donut texture is chewier/bouncier than a wheat donut. If you’ve had mochi ice cream it will be familiar but lighter and airier.Lemonades were light and refreshing, tasted fresh. The rice hotdog and rice cheese stick were delicious. Hot (let it cool before first bite!) and cooked through, and the breading ratio was fine. The potato dog is obviously thicker than the original - which makes sense because it’s coated in fries.Seating is a little sparse. We had no trouble and sat at the window counter seats, but I think there were only 3 actual 4-tops. There is bench seating along the stretch from the parking lot door to the counter, but they only have these tiny tipsy side tables. I can see it getting jammed during busy times. We’ll probably go back the next time we’re craving a hot dog on a stick. Donuts pricing is prohibitive but for a once in a while treat like a birthday or grad party, or for a work function, I can see the splurge.

Food and drinks are amazing but the bathrooms are disgusting! And needs more tables overall I had a good time and would come back, but definitely do better on the restrooms!

Pretty good donuts! I love mochi and mochi donuts were light and chewy without feeling heavy. The space is big and modern and bright. Can't say much about the staff since we used the self-service tablet to order. As far as hot dogs they don't have a lot for vegetarians. I got a potato cheese stick and it was only Ok. I wouldn't go back for those. I would go back for the donuts though!

Really wish delivery would be an option again :( I can’t buy from here any other way so it’s very saddening when I saw they took their store off

the costumer service was horrible, the staff gave the impression that they hate their job. The energy I got in there definitely repelled me. They also do not pick up phone calls so don’t even try calling them. The corn dogs were good but the person who made them burned them to the point where they were hard and my kiddo couldn’t eat hers. However, the donuts were great.

I appreciate their food! The coffee mochinut is my fav so far. Not a great place for health, wallets, or your watch, but great for a fun time between friends. I know I'll be back!Pro tip: skip the dipping cups and put your sauce directly on your fried mozzarella or hot dog.
