Avocado Toast w/egg was perfect, however I waited nearly 30 minutes for my coffee drink, watched 5-6 people behind the counter circulate and many other customers wait quite a while for their coffee drinks.

The backyard is such a fun community vibe, and the indoor area feels cozy if at times a bit crowded. It's great year-round and at any time of day. They also do a great job of hosting events and supporting artists. I love York!

Love this spot! There’s a little bit of everything- ricewood, bao boys, and delicious sandwiches. Drinks and coffee are very good, especially if you actually like to taste your coffee. Prices a little high, but the quality makes it worth it. Lots of seating inside and outdoors. 10/10 recommend!

Egg salad was so watery it was genuinely inedible, but caprese sandwich was good. Very kid friendly, but hard to enjoy the outdoor area due to the clouds of gnats and flies.

Wow!! My boyfriend and I came here for the first time today, roaming the city with which I am a resident: my boyfriend is from Royal Oak. I could tell he was not going to settle for any ‘ol meal off the street. He was taken aback by the menu style but was intrigued by the options. The main dining room is buzzing with chatter and cheer over meals meats and vegetables made with true mindfulness.
The space and the seating was copious, the drinks range from awesome to even more awesome. Try the “karate chimp” if you’re into something a little fruity. The Guest Services staff at all register order and pay stops were exceptionally well behaved in their hats as employees. Everyone that works here is quite literally iconic looking. There is a beautiful black and white portrait of Nelson Mandela in one of the more intimate corners of the space that is approximately 4-5,000sq/ft. Kasha was working the dining room as service and tender and Lordy, was it a pleasure to see her work with another coworker to manage and maintain the restaurant’s atmosphere. This is a GREAT place for ANY occasion. Personal, business, pleasure, party, etc. ! Thank you, YORK Food and Drink for your business!!!!
