This is one of my very favorite places in Ann Arbor - it truly is a community gathering spot. Great food, awesome vibes and centrally located. Your really can't go wrong.

Logan was rude on the phone and dismissive when I called for general info.

Love this place, but don't like the "service" model. I usually go to get ricewood and then grab a beer. However, unless you sit at the bar, you have to wait in line to order your beer from one location, then go to the bar and pick it up. Sometimes the wait can be 5 minutes or more to order the beer, then wait to have it poured etc. I don't tip in that case, and sometimes I get the look from staff. Sorry, but if I'm waiting in line then go into another location to grab the beer and taking all that time, don't feel like I should tip.
Went in a couple nights ago, got my awesome ricewood pulled pork sandwich, sat at the bar ordered a beer from online menu. Didn't see the price until the bill came. 12 bucks for a pint of beer from a brewery that's right down the street. That's just ridiculous.
Still love York, but feel they're getting too big for their britches.

Prices keep going up and it’s not worth it. Ordered the world’s tiniest, and driest, tuna sandwich. Cappuccino quality subpar every time I’m dumb enough to try it.
Quite possibly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. You could tell everything on that sandwich was recently made and was extremely fresh. It was delicious.

We had a private event at York and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Between the atmosphere of the establishment to the highly educated bartenders. The entire staff was first class. Highly recommended for grabbing a coffee or cocktail with a friend, or for a larger event situation.

Absolutely amazing! The employees are knowledgeable and helpful. They have (very graciously) taught me so much about wine. The prices are more than reasonable. Even if you don't usually spend the money to go to wine bars, I recommend the wine bar at York.

The service is poor. Tables not bussed. Very snobby, entitled 70 year old Ann Arborites think this is a 5 star restaurant where they have a private table waiting. Ridiculous. Food is OK, but the service and atmosphere rubs me the wrong way.

The food here is great and high quality and the same with the wine and it has a very inviting atmosphere. Perfect stop in Ann Arbor.

Enjoyed the bagel with lox and capers. They made me a decaf americano that tasted great. We enjoyed sitting in the large outdoor seating area. It was nice and quiet on a Wednesday morning around 9am.
Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian sandwiches and toasts. Probably could be made vegan as well but I didn't see any specific vegan options.
