Mosher Jordan Dining Hall is a gem on campus! The food selection is always fresh and varied — from healthy options to comfort classics, there’s something for everyone. The salad bar and dessert station are especially impressive. Staff are friendly, the space is bright and welcoming, and it’s a great spot to grab a meal with friends or just relax between classes.

A friend of mine worked at this dining hall part time and was poorly treated by a coworker while serving foods. That coworker knew my friend is a student so she exercised her “authority” to put her on the weak spot by constantly judging her food plating speed and waiting to blame her for any slightest imperfection she made. This coworker eventually caught my friend taking an empty plate from another student who demanded separate food and called over a chef to back her up and blamed my friend for doing everything wrong and presenting a “bad attitude.” While my friend had listened to her coworker’s every suggestion without any disagreement, this coworker continued to scold and swear at my friend when she left the food serving station, saying that my friend better leave because she’s having “a bad a** attitude.” While my friend was working here, she was always being watched and judged by the full-time workers who seemed to have nothing to do but commenting on new student workers. It’s such a terrible working atmosphere, and the food tastes bland and not worth the bucks portion wise.

Food variety is middling for MDining, with sometimes only a few dishes to choose from aside from the standard burgers, fries, and pizza. Cookies are backed fresh on-site though, and World Maize is generally pretty good.

Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian options, with quality highly variable based on daily menu. Sometimes only 1-2 options including build-your-own sandwich station.

Parking: Parking at U-M Blue Lot opposite from Markley free after 5:00 PM weekdays and all day weekends, though sometimes unavailable.

Food is good for a dining hall, big so easy to find spots to sit.

Budget conscious persons would find the buffet style menu worth it. The overall taste is good, especially the Western style items. The atmosphere is neutral with contemporary, natural tones in subdued, casual aura.

Dietary restrictions: They have halal section.

Been to this dining as part of UofM orientation.. I would say this is one of the best dining halls on campus offering wide choice and kept very clean. Staff is very friendly and they guided all through the dining experience.
