Vegans/vegetarians beware! They list two broths on their menu as vegan/vegetarian. We tried to order them but happened to ask to confirm and were told that neither are vegan/vegetarian. We had a long back and forth discussing how misleading the menu is and how that could be a big issue with people who are strict. I'm not sure anything will be changed on the menu so I thought it'd be helpful to post here. Our only vegan/vegetarian option was boiling water as broth. Luckily we were able to load up at the sauce bar with other ingredients that we added to the water to create our own broth and it turned out great.

Palace Tang is hands down one of the best hot pot places I’ve been to! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the ingredients are always fresh. The variety of broths and sauces is fantastic—there’s something for everyone, from mild to spicy.
A special shoutout to Ginny, our waitress, who made the experience even more enjoyable. She was attentive, friendly, and had great recommendations that enhanced our meal. Ginny’s excellent service really stood out and made us feel well taken care of the entire time.
I’ll definitely be coming back to Palace Tang and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing hot pot experience!

One of the best hotpot restaurants I’ve been to. Comparable to SF and NY in quality. Incredible selection and prices are very very reasonable! Especially given the unique items they have at a hotpot place! My friends and I try to go every week for our catch-up dinner.
