Paid for a steak breakfast sandwich on ciabatta and was given a an old, burnt, pork sausage croissant, I don’t even eat pork!! and I truly believe it was out of blatant disrespect based on the name and appearance of the person picking up the food!
Absolutely abhorrent and disgusting behavior!
Will never order from a Panera again!

I ordered two full sandwiches online from this Panera Bread location, and the portion size was shockingly small. I've had Panera at other locations, and the sandwiches there were always properly made. However, what I received this time was completely different — not even close to Panera’s usual standard and honestly not acceptable. Very disappointing experience.

The staff is nice , the food took a while , but my biggest problem was the condition of the place. I was going to eat there but when I saw the floors and the walls , I said absolutely not. Very dirty and the walls were falling apart. As bad as that was , the bathroom was the worst. It literally made me feel sick. It smelled like a bathroom in a night club and there was hair and piss all over the place. Definitely sticking to the washtenaw location.

My Order was a little behind and i was kinda pressing the guys behind the counter. They hooked it up with extra cookies and bread etc. I felt bad for sure haha granted it was taking a long time it wasn’t the kids fault. Here’s to hoping the dude that gave me some free food sees this. Thanks dawg.

ETA: The iced coffee is still SO watered down y'all, it looks and tastes like river water 😭 Can you do a retraining, I'll go in the back and make it myself if I have to 😅 ----- The vibes are a little off at this Panera, but that's fine. My main complaint is that the iced coffee is always either out or extremely watered down.

I visited on 9/22/25 - The food was delicious- the problem is for lunch (4:13 in the afternoon) for 2 people my bill was $58.23 - there wasn’t a single clean table to sit at and there was food and garbage all over the floors. I had to ask for a rag to clean off my own table and no one behind the counter took that as a Cue to come out and clean the tables. They allowed me to clean the table and told me I could leave the rag on the counter. The silverware tha they put in our plates were dirty and when we asked for replacement silverware they only could offer plastic…. For almost $60 my expectations for this experience was devastatingly lower than where it should be.

Come on Panera Bread. Fill the soup bowl up. Especially when you are changing $9.
Lots of old people here, so expect gross coughing all the time if you dine in. They also need to replace the old ladies who work behind the counter they seem a little out of it, respectfully. Had little clue what I was saying to them. Young college area with old semi senile employees isnt a good idea. Chicken roma sandwich I had was yummy at least.
Parking: Beware of people turning fast at stop signs here

I live in the apartments near by so I've been in a handful of times, usually early morning/brunch time. Almost every time I've been in I'm greeted by a lady with square glasses who I believe her name starts with an L, but she is so sweet. Always keeps up a small conversation and is somehow always in a positive mood. I'm moving now and won't be in again, but she deserves some bonus or something!!

The food selection is excellent with healthy options, though I recommend coming earlier in the day for the best variety of options. I really appreciate the unlimited self-serve coffee station - great value! I just wish they would brew a fresh pot during evening hours, as the coffee tends to cool down later in the day. Overall a great value for the money.
