We just got specialty sushi rolls, they were all good. Our fav was the Broadway, only critic from my family was that the Salmon on the Beach had too much cream cheese lol. Very nice staff and atmosphere, there were about 10-15 tables if I had to say and it was pretty much completely full on a Monday night so I might recommend a reservation.

Food was delicious!!! It's rare to see a place that does Japanese food AND Korean food well. We got a few appetizers (agedashi tofu and avocado bomb), the tonkatsu bento box and 10 piece Korean fried chicken (soy garlic and honey butter). The fried chicken was so crispy and flavorful and I loved the bento box presentation!

Very intimidate cafeteria type set up inside, staff is super friendly and quick. Street parking was plentiful with tons of nearby shops to check out. We got a few rolls for the table- salmon on the beach, U of M and Tokoyo roll plus the chicken wings with soy garlic/honey butter.
Sushi was a hit- loved the flavors and was able to see the sushi chefs at work. 10/10. Pictures on the menu so it was easy to pick out what we liked. The chicken was flavorful and very crunchy. Would definitely order again!
We also had the house barley tea which tasted heavy like oats as well as the miso soup which was the best miso soup of my life. Definitely stop in!

I love the sushi rolls here, and my coworkers rave about the chicken wings and popcorn chicken bento box. My favorites are the Salmon on the Beach (lightly torched salmon on top, yes there is cream cheese and that’s not for everyone, powerful taste profile with spicy eel sauce/sweet), Saturday Night Roll (no cream cheese, but yes a fantastic explosion of lightly fried razor-thin shredded sweet potato that will make you come back for that same roll again), and the Broadway (mild flavor profile, just straight up lots of fish!), and the house salad is better than your average sushi side salad. The location is great for North Side and Lowertown residents, and there is a pleasant dining room that is nice enough to take a person on a casual date or business lunch. What’s even more, the owner is attentive and VERY kind!

This place was so great!!! I would recommend it to anyone. We had a large group come in back in June but they were SO nice and so accommodating, we were so grateful. It was so clean and the food was so good, there were so many good options! 10/10 recommend!!
Reasonably good bento box at a fair price. Chicken wings were very crunchy but had a slightly overcooked flavor. Service was a bit slow and we felt forgotten at the end of the meal.
