I went to this place to get a poke bowl this evening (Feb 15, 2024). It's not my first time here, and I think their poke is pretty decent. However, something happened today that shocked me. I should have corrected her right away, but this is the first time I've encountered this kind of situation, so I just feel a bit weird but didn't realize it immediately.A young white lady took my order and seemed to either pretend she couldn't understand me or didn't try to understand what I was saying. I repeated myself, but she just asked her colleague for help and simply walked away, her colleague don’t have problem understanding and even she didn’t hear me clearly, she asked in a really polite way. At that time, there was only me ordering, and no other customers, so she shouldn't have been too busy to help me. I don't have a strong accent, and I'm confident in my pronunciation. I hope this isn't a case of racial discrimination, but if it is, it's very rude of that lady.

I've only eaten here once & probably won't be going back. It wasn't the worst but the produce was kinda wilted and the avocado I paid extra for was brown. I get it that they brown easily & that precutting them makes for way faster service, just don't find it worth the price unfortunately ?

I spent an extra $3 for an "extra scoop" of salmon, and the bowl was still maybe half full. There was also a large hard fish bone (0.5" by my ruler) in the fish. I've never had a bone in sushi in my entire life. To boot, the sushi was old and had little flavor. I will not be going back here and would not recommend it to anyone. There are a lot of reviews touting this as Ann Arbor's best sushi restaurant and that's...not true. Most of Ann Arbor's sushi is actually pretty good and this was absolutely at the bottom.

It wasn't the best experience if you are not familiar with the options of building your own bowl.

Turn off your Uber Eats when you are closed so drivers do not have to waste time going to your restaurant. Thanks!

I was craving a poke bowl in Ann Arbor and was happy to find poke poke- sushi unrolled. I made my own bowl with spicy tuna and salmon and an assortment of toppings. I really liked the toppings they had however I've never had a poke place charge $2 extra for seaweed salad especially when it's usually one of the normal toppings. The cabbage also tasted a bit weird. Overall the poke bowl was delicious and they were generous with the crunchy toppings if you asked.

I paid $2 upcharge for the cauli-rice. It’s RAW. Cold AF raw cauliflower. $24 for about a cup of food. The “large” bowl is 4 cubes of tuna and 5 baby shrimp. Two bowls, and six tacos (which were buy one taco meal get one free) and the total was $85. Never again.

Tiny portions - dry fish I should have read the reviews before ordering on door dash. Ordered the regular rainbow bowl. There was about 1/8cup of protein - hardly any for $17. The salmon was dry and tasted like it had been sitting out, completely flavorless. Most of the dish was rice and avacado. Was supposed to come with a house sauce but did not. Overall very dry. Got half spring mix and the veggies were wilted with brown. Never ordering from here again. Worth the drive to somewhere else.
