Let's start witht he fast truth!

I had the Pork Belly Rice Bowl with Red Slaw and medium spice. This is now registered as the best food experience my taste buds have ever encountered!

Please come here and treat yourself to heavenly adventures of flavor combinations that will make your mind change the algorithms of life!!!

Before I left, I ordered an identical bowl, and another 4 Oz. of brisket. After hours in the car, look at this melt in your mouth perfection!!!

I've been here quite a few times but just wanted to say a few things about this spot. I don't typically like barbecue places because of the protein to sides ratio alongside the usual higher cost, but here you get a great amount of protein and it's priced fairly for the excellent quality of food. It is always cooked perfectly, and the fermented vegetable sides are incredible. Highly recommend adding all of them. I've had the pork belly and the chicken, and both of them are delicious. You can choose varying levels of spice, and I usually get the spicy one. Lastly, the service is great, with usually very quick pickup times and friendly staff. One of my favorite spots in AA!

Absolutely amazing. I wanted to order a bowl but they had sold out of all of them. Do I got the hamburger. Each week they have a special. I can't believe how amazing it was. I could taste the different layers of flavors but wouldn't exactly pint point all of them.
They are in the same common space as at least 3 other food businesses, sharing the seating area. Great place.

Lots of seating and atmosphere was very comfortable and exactly what you need for a BBQ food location, a bar with martinis , a bistro and a wine bar!!

I have edits this review several times as I continue to sit here. Very clean. The young man who was cleaning was doing a very good job. I'm not sure I've seen someone clean door windows at 8:30 PM in a restaurant. He has swept the floor often. A great worker to keep.

This place never misses. The pork belly, brisket, and ribs are easily top 3 BBQ places in MI. They have the best brisket in MI with that perfect amount of smoke. My only disappointment with them is they run out quick so you need to get there as close to opening as possible. Ribs are smoked and seasoned perfectly. BBQ sauce is ok but their flavor and seasoning is so great their food can do without a BBQ sauce. The place stays in regular rotation.

So I actually really love this place and the people working there but they run out of the brisket, ribs, and pork shoulder VERY often and it's a pain to drive all the way there and leave without what you wanted.

Amending this to 1 star today because I called to inquire about how fatty or lean the brisket is (which I was told to do at the other location due to inconsistency). I spoke to the manager Jacob who was very short and essentially refused to give me an answer. There are many ways this could've been handled better, especially by a manager. It was clear he just didn't want to help me.

Definitely will be coming back here too. The brick and mortar spot just next to the Bao Bros and a coffee shop/cocktail bar. A simple, yet all well prepared menu. I had the pork belly bowl with sesame cucumbers. Nice portion, beautifully seasoned and cooked meat. I can't wait to stop by and try more.
Decent sized line, but they pump out orders pretty fast.

The place gives a relaxed feeling and sinks the spirit of the town into you. The man at the counter was refreshingly polite and took time to explain the menu to me. The briskets were awesome. Done just to perfection. The quantity of carbs was more than what i prefer. Overall an awesome experience.

OMG, if you ever get a chance to visit this gem, DO IT! The rice bowl is exquisite, generous portions and perfectly cooked meats. And plenty for a second meal.

It's an okay place. You'll be happy if you don't expect it to be a fancy and tasty encounter.

Multiple food sections. Met family there for dinner on a Friday busy but found a spot. Great BAO from truck outside, the rice spot excellent. Loved the cucumber salad.

Simply delicious! You hit the parking lot with the smell goods! 😋 Get there ideally by 2 or 3 if you want their chopped brisket! Pulled pork is out of this world.

Outdoor seating was nice! We got pork belly, brisket, spare rib and pulled pork bowls. My fav was the pork belly. You can choose from no spice, medium or spicy! Food was delicious.
