The server was so kind and helpful with my gluten allergy. He suggest a delicious dish I could eat and added modifications to it. The presentation of the food was also extremely beautiful. They also have great portions here.

We went in and the lady was super nice, she had us sit down (there are many tables with four chairs), and gave us complimentary miso soup for our orders. We had the lunch special and Soom Tofu, the beef was a bit overcooked and the pork a bit stale. The sushi was good and so was the dumpling and tempura. There was a service fee in case u wanted to add a tip.

Very hot, they don’t want to turn on the AC for their guests in the summer. Table service is little to no, but they will charge you a flat 18% “service fee” regardlessly

Curry katsu tastes watery, doesn’t have enough flavor. Disappointed. Mt Fuji roll was really good but $15 for 5 pieces…?

The red curry ramen is one of the best dishes in Ann Arbor. All of the other dishes are phenomenal. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Food taste bad, not as good as other japenese restaurants in AA, price is ok but more expensive than nearby restaurants, terrible service but mandatory 18 percent tips. Would never go there again.

On the front of the store, it says a Korean restaurant, and they do serve Korean food, however, they don’t serve Banchan with Korean food. I ordered Soondubu and this is what I received without any banchan. weird. And this cost me $21 with tip.

If I could rate it 0 stars, I would. But since that’s not an option, they get 1 star. Avoid this place!!! They combine orders on the same plate / package multiple orders with no regard to the fact that some patrons have allergies or dietary restrictions that need to be honored. And when you approach them about the need for separate orders to be plated / packaged separately, they stutter, stammer, and do nothing- no apologies, no offer to remake or correct their mistake, and no return credit either. Horrible customer service and disgusting food preparation & service.

Under new leadership, Saica has dramatically improved! They have the best local bento box with a wide variety of tempura and their curries rival the best local Thai restaurants. Our new favorite local Japanese-Korean-Thai fusion restaurant!

Walking in, the atmosphere was comfortable but the dining area was outdated and a bit dusty. I ordered the Curry Chicken Katsu for $18. A lot of rice and sauce, but not much chicken. The veggies were very soft to the point of mushy, and the curry was just okay. I might come back to try the sushi, but I will not have my hopes up.
