We had my Mom's 90th Birthday Celebration here. Such a great team, lead by Jonathan. They were attentive, helpful and caring. They made the event worth every minute. The food was GREAT, some a little spicy (which I love), and plentiful for a 50 person event!!! As a family of adults and kids, everyone had a great time. Thank you for making it such a memorable time. We'll be seeing you again, for drinks, music and socializing in the summer!!

Sam Hill is cozy with a great menu. We came specifically for brunch and it was enjoyable. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We’ll bring a group back to check it out during the summer where the open patio is sure to be a good time. Try the tomato pies!

The brussel sprouts was the best I've had. The black beans were scrumptious as well.

Food was ok but our server was sick, did not want to be there and it showed. Never was asked how the food was and only did the bare minimum. We did not feel welcomed and will not return.

Unique and fun restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff. Had the tomato pie starter which was our favorite, flaky and savory. The French fries were crunchy with just the right saltiness and the burger juicy and flavorful. Jambalaya pasta was creamy and a little bit spicy but not too much. We finished with the maple apple crisp which was a warm and sweet treat. Will definitely visit again soon.

I came here for restaurant week and I am very glad I didn’t come when the food was full price. This place deserves 1 star if it weren’t for the very kind wait staff (shoutout to Courtney to being an amazing server). I’m pretty sure this place is a Sysco kitchen (although they won’t admit it).

We ordered the onion dip, the jambalaya pasta, the pot roast, and the pecan crumble. The onion dip tasted like the packets you get at the store (Lipton I’m pretty sure). The chips were great, they were obviously made in house, but the dip was mediocre at best.

The jambalaya pasta, or should I say soup, was a disgrace to Creole and Cajun cuisine. The sauce was so watery it was pooling at the bottom of the plate, the sausage was cut in so many different ways, and the entire dish lacked any flavor (which goes against everything both of these cuisines are known for). The pasta was also incredibly mushy.

The pot roast actually ruined my taste buds. It was so incredibly salty I needed to chug my water. There was also a 2:1 ratio of meats to carrot (carrots being the majority of this dish). The mashed potatoes tasted like they were powdered.

Finally, the pecan crumble. Or rather the pecan oatmeal. It was literally oatmeal that had pecans, microwaved, and topped with ice cream. I was so disappointed but I ate it because I couldn’t eat anything else that night.

DON’T COME HERE. the food is so bad that I can’t even begin to fathom spending $25 for a plate here is justifiable. If you want something equivalent to the food quality (or maybe even better) go to chilis or Applebees. At least they are honest that their food is not fresh.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts were scrumptious, Pot Roast very meaty and tasty, and Maple Pecan Crumble Dessert was out of this world! Quite a meal to remember!!

The special and options for restaurant week were a great value and more importantly delicious. Our server was kind and attentive--he did great.

Brunch is cheaper than the 3-course dinner offered for the Ann Arbor Restaurant Week. Crab Cake Benny looked really delicious.
