We ordered Satchel's BBQ for my son's graduation party in May 2025 (and have ordered in the past for team banquets) and it was an excellent experience. Hugh and his team made is so easy to order (and then confirmed before the party to assure we had enough, accoutinged for leftovers, and answered my questions about keeping the food warm.) Our guest raved about the food - it's excellent quality and great for all ages - the mac and cheese is a must, of course. I will definitely order from Satchel's again!

The people in the kitchen know EXACTLY what they are doing when it comes to seasoning and grilling meat!! I ordered some brisket and ribs to go and they were AMAZING!! The ribs were so tender and the brisket was well seasoned. Will definitely be back and highly recommend the brisket and ribs.

Absolutely delicious, the staff had great personalities as well as they were helpful, kind, and told me which items have pork in them so my restrictions could be accommodated to. Thank you for the service and absolutely bussin food. I got a rice bowl with baked beans on top, brisket, a side of mac and cheese and they gave me some homemade house barbecue sauce. When I tell you this was one of the most if not the most tender meat I've ever had, I am NOT exaggerating, this was absolutely worth the price.

Great experience using Satchel's Catering for the meat (pulled pork, pulled chicken, and kielbasa) for our extra large grad party. Guests commented about the great food more than any party we'd had. So easy to pick up a large pan Satchel's staff provided of each meat and set it in the chafing dishes. Will definitely do again! This meat is so tasty and not dry - perfect bbq!

Best salmon ever!! We've enjoyed Satchel's for years, they have the best brisket in the area by far and their BBQ beans are insanely good. Today we finally tried their smoked salmon, a frequent weekend special, and now I know why they have it so often. The salmon was just lightly smoked, so it was still soft and moist and absolutely delicious. Not oversmoked, not undersmoked, it was just exactly perfect. I'm going to be craving this again and again!

We ordered Satchel's last night, and could not have enjoyed it more! The brisket was tender and incredibly flavorful - made all the better with House AND Hot bbq sauces. The Mac n Cheese was delicious (and even better with a little of the Sweet sauce on it). The Red Beans & Rice were really tasty with just a touch of heat to liven it up. And the Bread Pudding was excellent - not too sweet, and more custard-y than bread-y.
Not only was the food delicious, but our order was ready to pick up pretty much right when they said it would be, and everything was as ordered. All in all, a perfect take-out dining experience. And, they use all compostable packaging materials as well!!
If I had the option to give them a 6th star, I would! Can't wait to get Satchel's again!

We used Satchel's BBQ to cater our mother's memorial celebration this past weekend. She loved their food and it seemed fitting to use Satchel's to celebrate her life. We were ABSOLUTELY THRILLED with the quality of the food, the service and ease of using satchel's. Everyone attending that day commented on how tasty everything was. We had brisket, chicken and kielbasa for over 150 folks, along with a bunch of sides. DELICIOUS!!!! Spencer kept the food hot and made sure nothing ran out. He was patient and kind. Answering any questions guests had. We chose to have cornbread and brioche buns with all of our food. There was plenty of BBQ sauce, but honestly, it wasn't needed as the meat is awesome without it......but get the sauce, lol. As I told the owner Hugh as his staff: WORTH EVERY PENNY. A very good price for even better people and food. A sincere thank you to all the staff at Satchel's!

We did a catered graduation party. We had the food delivered. The food was some of the tastiest BBQ I have ever had. The Brisket was my favorite. We had chicken, pork, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and cornbread. It was was delicious. We had plenty of good food to eat. I would highly recommend Satchel's for any party!
