It was so amazing, best bbq I’ve had in a long time. Wish they would come to my town. Every bite was better than the last.

Food was really good. I had ribs, brisket and chicken breast. I didnt care too much for the sauce they had already on the chicken. But everything else was good. Brisket was soooo tender and the ribs were on point. That was my favorite. I had Mac and cheese and Green beans. The sides were ok. I was expecting the green beans to be cooked differently. They are still hard but flavored well. The Mac and cheese kinda had more cheese than noodles. But over all I enjoyed my food. I would come again.

I love Slows Detroit. I was very excited they were coming to Ann arbor. Unfortunately not the same food experience. I left feeling disappointed
Brisket and ribs were very dry, chicken thigh was sorta boring, pulled pork was chewy and overcooked, sides were very underwhelming and lacked whimsy.

Ok but not as good as Slows Bar Bq in Detroit. Very limited menu selection, noisy and crowded.

Great atmosphere. Sweet potato smash is great!
Great food, great environment, great people! You will not be disappointed. So glad the owners took the old Blue Tractor and kept it BBQ but made it so much better. It’s great not to drive to Detroit anymore!

Dinner on 1/10/26: I don’t know where to start. It looks like the Blue Tractor owners left everything except the sign out front, you’d never know it was a different restaurant. Was excited to try this place since I’ve heard great things about the Detroit location. Now either these reviews are bought, they had a really off night or my expectations were off the chart. It’s either 1 or 2. First we stood at two open seats at the bar waiting ~ 7 minutes to place a drink order while we waited for a table. 2 staff behind the bar, neither of them man or woman, were interested in taking our order. Worked in our favor as one less person to tip, but poor bar service.
When we ordered drinks, I ordered a Suncruiser and the server was unaware of the drink I ordered, so I had to show her the menu. A bit odd but then my drink, which comes in a can, was barely cold. That wasn’t the worst thing though, the food was terrible, 1/2lb of pulled luke warm pork with side of mac and cheese that had glob of dried up orange cheddar covering congealed noodles, also cold. To top it off the fire alarms went off and we were told it was ok only for the fire trucks to arrive. Maybe that’s why our food was cold?
Perhaps go the extra miles and stick with the OG spot in Detroit.

Nothing like what you have previously known Slow's for.
Huge portions make for a good value and lots of leftovers.
Unfortunately, pork arrived close to room temperature, and beef brisket was dry and tough. Brisket is hard to get right, so understandable. But Slow's has been doing this for a while, and Aaron Franklin has shared all the secrets of good brisket. So, rather bizarre. Perhaps just new location growing pains.
The carrot cake sounds delicious, but will have to wait.
