At our tasting we discussed the design and she mentioned how she would incorporate a part of the lace design of my dress onto one of the tiers. I knew this was going to be magical! I asked our venue which vendor to choose for our cake and they immediately said Sweet Heather Anne's. We booked a tasting and consultation and it was fun! We got to meet with Sarah for the tasting and then Heather about the design. I showed her some inspiration pics I found online and she sketched it right there with us. For the wedding it looked beautiful. We had vanilla praline for the tiered cake and the chocolate salted caramel with cream cheese frosting as a sheet cake they sliced in the kitchen. I seriously can't believe how beautiful it was and how much thought they put into it. The flowers they used were the ones we had at our wedding! It was the perfect amount of intricacy and simplicity. And the flavor!!! Not only beautiful, but absolutely delicious. We chose a lemon lavender cake and it was excellent. Many of our friends and family complimented how good it was. Not only does their cake taste incredible (try the blood orange olive oil, you won't regret it!), the artistry that went into designing the sugar flower peonies to match my bouquet was stunning! When working with Sweet Heather Anne, you have the option to either keep the top tier of your cake, or she'll bake you a fresh one on your 1 year wedding anniversary. We opted for the latter and are already counting down the days until we can indulge again!
