Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea

Was in the area on vacation visiting family, and I was pleasantly surprised by how far above and beyond this location was compared to everything in the area.

From the people at the front counter, remembering me from the first time I came in down to the drinks being top-notch and feeling like it was made from scratch by your grandmother.

Also, usually when you go to a place like this, the bathrooms are less than desirable. You can tell that from the top down to the bottom, everybody is invested in keeping the place clean and in tiptop shape.

I now look forward to coming back to the area every time and this is always gonna be my first stop no matter what time of day.

Such a lovely place and the atmosphere makes you feel very, very comfortable and at home even when you’re many many states away from home.

I’m a regular at the downtown Ann Arbor location partly because of the beverages but mostly because of the service. The counter folks are friendly, welcoming, and professional. Gabe, in particular, has an ease with customers that makes his service exceptional. Great place, great staff.

I got a Dreamy and it was by far the best coffee I've ever had! I don't have any local Sweetwater coffee near but any time I travel with one nearby I will be going!

I love coming to sweetwaters in the evenings and my baristas recently, Lio, Gabe, Callista, and Fran, have been the bestest ever. I LOVE SWEETWATERS AND THE BARISTAS HERE THANK YOU FOR MY GINGER RASPBERRY ICED TEA AND PLEASE MAKE IT MORE AFFORDABLE I WILL COME MORNING AND NIGHT

Sweetwaters is my go-to! The honey lavender matcha is always made perfectly, and the staff is super kind — shoutout to Gabe for always being so welcoming. Love that they’re open till 11 too!

This location is the OG Sweetwaters. Great coffee and pasteries. I stop by several times a week and always have awesome service from Brooklyn, Parker, and the whole morning crew. Great way to start your day!

I had a fantastic experience at the café thanks to the amazing service from Gabe and Callista. Gabe was incredibly friendly and made sure my order was just right, while Callista was warm and attentive, creating such a welcoming vibe. Their professionalism and genuine kindness really made my visit special. I'll definitely be coming back!

Every time I go here, everybody is so nice and welcoming. They take my order promptly and I wanna give a specific shout out to Parker. He went above and beyond to make sure that my drink was exactly the way that I wanted it to be + even recommended some of his favorites to me to help me order and make great conversation with me throughout the entire process! It’s rare that an employee makes a quick transaction feel so welcoming & Parker did just that. 10/10 will come back again!
