Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea

Though I have been a customer at multiple locations for quite some time, this is the first review that I have left, and it is for my favorite location. Everyone is always friendly and all of the staff at Westgate seem like they are having a lot of fun. Highly recommend a Dreamy, but I'm excited about the new seasonal drinks this fall, too. Thanks for making my week and sometimes multiple times a week! Go Sweatwaters!

Nestled in the Westgate Library , Sweetwaters is a hidden gem that coffee enthusiasts won't want to miss. As soon as I walked in, the warm, inviting aroma of freshly ground beans created an instant sense of comfort.

I tried their vanilla latte, which was perfectly balanced—rich, creamy, and not overly sweet. The barista's skill is evident, and their passion for coffee shines through in every cup.

The ambiance is cozy, whether you're catching up with friends or settling in with a good book, the space feels both vibrant and relaxed.

Service is friendly and knowledgeable; the staff is eager to recommend blends based on your taste preferences. I highly recommend trying their chocolate croissant, which is freshly baked and pair perfectly with your coffee.

I'll definitely be returning for another cup!

The staff members are mostly great, however the management is awful. They lie to their employees and manipulate them. Recently, Sweetwaters denied a transgender employee work due to “lack of hours” for them, despite being severely short staffed and consistently asking other staff members to cover shifts last minute. Do not support this company.

I'm a frequent customer and recently have been disappointed by the quality/price ratio. Earlier this week, the Thai iced tea I ordered tasted closer to iced milk given how much ice and how little tea. It was $5+. Disappointing and I ended up throwing away after a few sips. Staff were on their phones at the counter and seemed distracted.

Usually love Sweetwaters, but staff today were distracted and didn't get the order right. This owner is responsive to complaints and has a good track record with the store's service and cleanliness.

Parking: Parking is generally not a problem with a large parking lot for the Plaza. But it is a very busy set of shops and parking close may, at times, be challenging.

Wonderful staff who are always kind and quick! So disappointed to hear about Sweetwaters' union busting actions. Union solidarity forever!

Wheelchair accessibility: Restroom not quite accessible. Grab bars are needed.

Waited a half hour for regular coffee. Of the half hour, the baristas had forgotten about it for 10 minutes and it wasn’t busy. Seems like the baristas were thrown into the shop without training. I felt bad for them, but don’t feel bad for the company’s lack of preparation and training. Cute shop.

Amazing little place! Coffee is excellent, food is above average and the location is amazing!!!My only complaint is that most coffee shops haven't gotten the memo: 24oz latte please. Some days that's not big enough.
