Tommy, Tanvee, and Maja were excellent especially for being open on 4th of July. Tommy and Tanvee were very patient when I couldn’t decide on which drink to upgrade to - finally decided on the Raspberry Fruit Tea - one sip and I remembered why I love this drink. Loved our $6 deals with Fruit Tea and a Cold Brew!

Just came in looking for an iced coffee and walked out with my new favorite drink. Kadense asked me what I was looking for in a drink and recommended I try the Double Chocolate Velvet Matte Black Cold brew, one of their currently featured drinks. It was like liquid gold! I will be back again for good drinks and great service.

Tommy did an awesome job taking care of me and my family. Service was fast, friendly, and courteously delivered. We will continue to visit this Sweeteater location!

Kadence and Tommy were super helpful with my order. I had a seasonal iced tea last summer, and it is no longer on the menu. Kaydence was able to make it for me from my minimal description. Kaydence and Tommy definitely went out of their way to provide excellent customer service. I will be returning again to the specific location For more goodies.

Alicia was amazing, she was very cheerful and friendly. She recommended a drip coffee brew and I enjoyed it. It’s not only the coffee that keeps me coming back but the great service and friendly baristas.

Kadense is the best! Her drink recommendations are always perfect and she always puts top effort into my drinks. She’s very friendly and I always love seeing her when I go in ☺️

Kadense was truly lovely and sooo friendly. Her recommendation of the Strawberry Matcha Fruit Tea with lychee jellies was DELICIOUS and pretty to look at. My new fav drink!!

The staff is fantastic! I especially wanted to mention Kadense, Tommy, Cortney, and Maja. But the whole staff is truly the best I've ever experienced in many years going to cafés all around Ann Arbor.

Got a lovely lavender iced latte recommended by the kindest barista, Tommy. Needless to say, it was delightful. Will be back for the guava matcha!

Though I have been a customer at multiple locations for quite some time, this is the first review that I have left, and it is for my favorite location. Everyone is always friendly and all of the staff at Westgate seem like they are having a lot of fun. Highly recommend a Dreamy, but I'm excited about the new seasonal drinks this fall, too. Thanks for making my week and sometimes multiple times a week! Go Sweatwaters!

Nestled in the Westgate Library , Sweetwaters is a hidden gem that coffee enthusiasts won't want to miss. As soon as I walked in, the warm, inviting aroma of freshly ground beans created an instant sense of comfort.

I tried their vanilla latte, which was perfectly balanced—rich, creamy, and not overly sweet. The barista's skill is evident, and their passion for coffee shines through in every cup.

The ambiance is cozy, whether you're catching up with friends or settling in with a good book, the space feels both vibrant and relaxed.

Service is friendly and knowledgeable; the staff is eager to recommend blends based on your taste preferences. I highly recommend trying their chocolate croissant, which is freshly baked and pair perfectly with your coffee.

I'll definitely be returning for another cup!

The staff members are mostly great, however the management is awful. They lie to their employees and manipulate them. Recently, Sweetwaters denied a transgender employee work due to “lack of hours” for them, despite being severely short staffed and consistently asking other staff members to cover shifts last minute. Do not support this company.

I'm a frequent customer and recently have been disappointed by the quality/price ratio. Earlier this week, the Thai iced tea I ordered tasted closer to iced milk given how much ice and how little tea. It was $5+. Disappointing and I ended up throwing away after a few sips. Staff were on their phones at the counter and seemed distracted.

Usually love Sweetwaters, but staff today were distracted and didn't get the order right. This owner is responsive to complaints and has a good track record with the store's service and cleanliness.
