The food was great (although definitely overpriced by $5-10 for what it’s worth). however there was only one cashier taking orders who was primarily absent. We had to wait ~10 mins to place an order (despite the restaurant being totally empty) and also watched 3 groups walk in and then leave upon not being helped.
It would be a great place if there was a little better value and the service was better

It was a great experience the staff was nice and atmosphere was very themed. The food was very good although a little pricey, you get big portions that are definitely worth your money. You have to get the tres leches cake!!

We were in Ann Arbor for a romantic getaway.
How surprised we were when we walked in here at Happy Hour 3pm-6pm.
Andrew hooked us up with lots of $2 tacos, and we hooked ourselves up with the Happy Hour drinks.
We highly recommend Texacano at anytime of day. Warm and Genuine service and authentic homemade salsa and food.

Empty. Walked inside and the place was not staffed. Waste of time.

Pretty good! Brisket is a little overdone. The queso isn't very good, feels like soup + Sysco chips.
Tacos were great as well as quesadillas!
We loved the food and the atmosphere!
I had 2 tacos and the tres leches cake, and that cake was on point! It’s been a while since I had a good tres leches cake this good…
The margarita was really good too.
I got the salsa verde and a beans and corn salsa, both were perfect as a taco topper.
It was about $47 for 2 adults including drinks, we ordered 5 tacos and one cake.

This was our second trip here, and it was fine. Despite being the only people in the building for lunch, it took a few minutes of standing up front to place our order. Once we got our order in, service was quick and helpful.
Food quality was okay. I got smoked brisket taco, which was good, and the pulled chicken taco, which was tasty but pretty dry. My fiance got the rice bowl with pulled chicken, which tasted like it was cooked with a bottle of liquid smoke, and the rice was undercooked and still a little crunchy.
Prices were reasonable, but would expect better quality. Totally good place to come for happy hour though.

Delicious food, reasonably priced, and good portions. This town has more than it’s fair share of taco spots but this one really stands out! Their homemade salsas are also incredible.

This place opened up near my office. Given the other Mexican places in Ann Arbor, I was skeptical that it would be good but I was very pleasantly surprised! I love this place!! It has fantastic happy hour prices. And you can order wine from blue tractor if you’re a wine girl like me. The tacos are fantastic street tacos!! More authentic than the other fake Mexican places around here. Pulled chicken and pulled pork are the way to go.

So impressed by the quality and taste and thrilled to have this place in town. From the smoked chicken to the queso, everything was good. Hot salsa is HOT. We definitely left feeling satisfied and wanting to return soon to try more things on the menu. Kind of a hybrid self-service and server situation- service was just okay. Not sure we understand the 3% surcharge on all checks (it's neither gratuity nor a service charge) to account for "rising costs." The prices were already on par with the more higher end taco places in town ($5-6 per taco). Hope that's something that's reevaluated.
