Coffee was served in cups that looked messy, with coffee spilling over the edges, giving them an unclean appearance. The waitstaff lacked politeness, and small yet thoughtful gestures, such as providing napkins with coffee or asking if customers needed sugar, were noticeably absent. Additionally, specific requests, like adding milk directly into the coffee instead of serving it separately, were not honored, as milk was still provided on the side. Being a popular spot doesn’t automatically equate to delivering a great customer experience.

European style bakery with American flavors. That's not really a good thing in my opinion. Prices are *very* high.

For some unexplained reason, the latte I tried to order didn't come with espresso. Espresso was available at a substantial add-on fee ...

Pastries are great, coffee is passable to bad. They do not even give a spoon with espresso. I think I have received bubbly water with my coffee at some point, but no longer. The management is know to be fairly cruel to employees, so it isn’t surprising that my experience is inconsistent now. Employee turnover seems high. If the pastries weren’t so good, I would never come back.

I was excited to try this place, until I saw the Michigan Daily article about this being a hostile work environment for the workers. Constant surveillance, inappropriate comments by management about worker's bodies, backdoor firings....sounds like a hard pass for me.

The atmosphere here is perfect. Not loud, not quiet-perfect for quiet reflection or conversation, which is enhanced by the perfect latte and delicious food.

Nice little bakery in Ann Arbor, presentation was great, as was the variety. Iced latte and chocolate/raspberry croissant was good. However the Frasier tasted like it's been refrigerated for 2 days and the drip coffee was cold and bitter.

I typically go here as a treat. I ordered the egg and cheese croissant. Expecting exactly that. Usually it’s just scrambled eggs, cheese and croissant. Nothing else. But today it was a BLOCK of an egg, similar to another restaurant called the -egg bar, which this one was disgusting, and they put some kind of house dressing on it which made it more nasty. Completely ruining a basic order. And definitely not worth $8! Just scramble the eggs, put the cheese on there and put it in the croissant. It’s not rocket science and I don’t need “fancy” (aka NASTY) house dressing on top of it. Please go back to how you were making them before and stop trying to make a basic croissant sandwich “different”. Thanks
