Solid space for working with good vibes. They seem to specialize in coffee-based cocktail and they're good. They're also really strong too. Would come again

Honestly one of the best spots in Ann Arbor! Everything is delicious. Personally we love the Irish Coffee, Gin & Tonic and the Sharpie Mustache. Stop by grab a drink or some coffee, play a game of chess or get a personalized typewritten poem. You can even learn some of Ann Arbor’s quirky history! The staff is also so personable and make the experience truly special.

Staff is always super friendly! Don’t have to scream to have a conversation over music. The cold brew pouches they sell are so tasty and strong. Cold brew martini is delicious and strong. He sprinkled coffee grounds on top so you get the smell of coffee before you take a sip and it really adds a nice touch!
We stopped in on a whim last night after walking by and seeing their sidewalk sign. So glad we did! The owner Mark was very nice and told us about the history of the building and how it is now restored to it's original use (a bar) for the first time since the 1800's! Very cozy atmosphere. The Black Manhattan and Espresso Martini were delicious and the perfect nightcap! We are excited to go back soon!

I’ve been to The Hidden King twice now, and both times have been fantastic experiences. Both times the owner, Mark, was incredibly kind and was more than happy to go through the menus. The coffee and cocktail menus, which are limited, and carefully curated and mastered. The space inside is immaculate and it really provides that authentic Ann Arbor vibe that I feel a lot of Main Street places have lost. If you’re looking for any cocktail recommendations, make sure to check out either the Black Manhattan (which I now prefer to traditional manhattans) or the Irish coffee (honestly the best Irish coffee I’ve ever had)!

Mark has created a magical little hide-away teeming with character. The Hidden King offers charming atmosphere, delicious drinks, and fantastic company if you’re open to it. We were lucky enough to stumble in on day 65 and look forward to returning.
