Really really impressed with the food here. I did not personally order a drink but everyone at my table enjoyed theirs, and the mocktail was great too. A lovely and cozy evening out.

The Last Word is, without a doubt, one of Ann Arbor's top destinations for serious cocktails. This place offers a dark, cozy, and sophisticated atmosphere that makes it perfect for intimate conversation and savoring expertly crafted drinks. They truly excel at classic cocktails, and their namesake drink, The Last Word, is perfection every single time—balanced, complex, and refreshing. I also absolutely love their Islay Sour—the scotch drink made with Laphroaig and egg whites. That smoky, frothy creation is the reason I keep coming back

Cocktails are always amazing and I would 100% come back just for their drinks. Food wise - I'm not sure. Wasn't as good as about year ago. The pork belly bao buns just didn't hit as good as they previously did. Still fine but not exactly what I remember.

The food and drinks were amazing. Each of my friends and I loved our various cocktails and our waitress recommended the roast carrots to rave reviews. The pumpkin creme brulee was so good that we all started scheming to add it to our thanksgiving menus. HOWEVER, the music was absolutely disastrous. It was poundingly loud and with genre swings that were both disruptive and at odds with the aesthetic of the space. At one point the Titanic theme song started and then, was abruptly replaced with a thumoing bass track. It felt like conversation was fighting uphill which was a huge detraction to the enjoyable food and delightful drinks along with soothing cozy lighting. Another point the music got so loud that when we finally pled with the staff to turn it down other tables clapped as it got quieter. Despite the amazing food, we agreed the noise was so uncomfortable we wouldn't want to return.

Genuinely some of the best cocktails I've had, so well balanced and refreshing. Service was impeccable. The unassuming entrance and ambeance make it feel close to a speakeasy. The menu was also well organized, which made drink selection easier. Bravo

This place gave me a lovely birthday experience! Amazing staff and even more amazing drinks in a cute, intimate speakeasy space. Can't recommend enough.

Stopped in for an after dinner drink.
This is a quaint speakeasy for which you need to look real hard for the small sign outside or you will miss it - both the sign and the entrance door are nondescript.
They make a good drink and have a selection ton of their specialties to choose from.
We have not tried any of their food.

Great place for cocktails with a spin. They don’t over do it, and have some classics too.
