Both the food and drinks were excellent. I had the pimento cheese and fries with the dips and both were incredible. For the drink I had the islay sour, which is probably in my top 5 for best cocktails I’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend checking out this place.

The Last Word is a cocktail lounge with a chill, romantic, speakeasy type of ambience.The selection menus are always impressive, the quality is high, and the mixologists are super legit.A lovely place for a classy date night, a high-end drink or a unique mocktail on any evening, but THURSDAYS with LIVE MUSIC are the BEST! The band is outstanding, mixing jazz, standards and americana tunes. It’s a nice compliment to the relaxed, vibey atmosphere and it makes the Last Word experience even better.Highly recommended.

We made reservations for after our wedding recpetion here and the staff was SOO amazing to us! They offered a champage toast and made an annoucement so everyone would cheer for us. We had a great server Hailey! I love the vibes of this place, we took a bunch of great photos. We did indulge in some snacks, the truffle fries were a hit!! The Dj (bar tender) was playing some great tunes, we had a great time!

Hands down the best cocktail spot in Ann Arbor. Jess was excellent, really made our time feel special. This bar is a not to miss.
Used to be a neat place to visit, but the overpriced drinks and offensive service by aggressive and belligerent staff result in me permanently avoiding. Who wants to spend $18 for a cocktail full of ice and 2 ounces of liquid that’s gone in 2 sips. And when one asks for clarification, only to get arrogantly scolded that their bar staff never get it wrong. What a joke, avoid!
