The Original Cottage Inn Pizza

Last week, I made a reservation at the Original Cottage Inn in Ann Arbor, MI thru Open Table for dinner on Saturday night. I received a confirmation email from Open Table that it was confirmed. My husband and I showed up for the reservation only to find that the restaurant was permanently closed and would be reopening as a new restaurant with a different name in the near future. As we had theater tickets for after dinner, we were stuck trying to find a different restaurant that could accommodate us. We walked to six different restaurants trying to find a restaurant that had available seating before we found a table at a local bar. Why is Open Table still taking reservations for a restaurant that is closed?

This location was permanently closed when we showed up for our reservation. When I called the number listed on Open Table the call went through to a pizza delivery location instead. Please update your database. This cost me several $ in parking and then I had to find another decent location to eat. Thanks.

Was looking forward to ordering the restaurant week special. I called and was told they don't take orders over the phone and I had to order on the website. I called back to explain there was no way to order via the website. The employee told me that I had to come to the restaurant to order. When I told the employee that the restaurant week website clearly stated dine in or take out (with website link) he became belligerent and hung up on me.

The pizza was great. Also had a lovely glass of wine that complemented the pizza. Our server Sara was attentive and friendly. Love the brick inside, giving it that old world atmosphere. Great choice.

Their Pizza and calamari were very tasty and filling. Service can be a little slow on busy days. Atmosphere is very lively.

I had the best birthday dinner at The Original Cottage Inn and our server was exceptional! Her recommendations were spot on, her gelato pick for my free birthday dessert was stellar, and our overall experience made for a perfect evening. I am sooo sooo sorry this restaurant will be sold and possibly turned into some high rise apartment building as opposed to keeping with the current, excellent restaurant fare. Try to get over there before it's too late! I'm going back soon.

Everything about this restaurant is amazing first off the service is outstanding...our bartender Chloe was absolutely amazing... good cold beer,fried provolone cheese sticks are game changing..the chicken Parm is the best I've ever had the margarita pizza top notch... needless to say I will definitely be back.....

Great night at the comedy club but the food was amazing! The chicken Parmesan was the best I’ve ever tasted. I also had a taste of the ravioli and need to go back to fulfill that craving!!! Great fun and food!

Although an iconic restaurant, I felt the food was not very good. I had salmon and it was over cooked and tasted very fishy. My mashed potatoes were barely warm. The variety of veggies were very good. My husband's chicken parm was also over cooked and bland. Service was very good. Hostess was really nice even under busy busy pressure. Ambience is still all college. Wouldn't hurry back.

Best happy hour in A2, hands down. Great, attentive staff and unbeatable drink and apps prices. Never fails to be a good time at this spot!

Just had a pizza from here and it was filled with extra extra cheese and it completely upset my stomach.I would not recommend food from here.

Great restaurant with good vibes inside. The menu is pretty extensive. Italian with some interesting takes on Old favorites. There's a wonderful selection of gelato and ice cream as well.
