Was looking forward to ordering the restaurant week special. I called and was told they don't take orders over the phone and I had to order on the website. I called back to explain there was no way to order via the website. The employee told me that I had to come to the restaurant to order. When I told the employee that the restaurant week website clearly stated dine in or take out (with website link) he became belligerent and hung up on me.

The pizza was great. Also had a lovely glass of wine that complemented the pizza. Our server Sara was attentive and friendly. Love the brick inside, giving it that old world atmosphere. Great choice.

Their Pizza and calamari were very tasty and filling. Service can be a little slow on busy days. Atmosphere is very lively.

I had the best birthday dinner at The Original Cottage Inn and our server was exceptional! Her recommendations were spot on, her gelato pick for my free birthday dessert was stellar, and our overall experience made for a perfect evening. I am sooo sooo sorry this restaurant will be sold and possibly turned into some high rise apartment building as opposed to keeping with the current, excellent restaurant fare. Try to get over there before it's too late! I'm going back soon.

Good food and great college town atmosphere in downtown Ann Arbor. Highlights are very good pizza with lots of options for toppings and excellent beer list including local favorites.

Great night at the comedy club but the food was amazing! The chicken Parmesan was the best I’ve ever tasted. I also had a taste of the ravioli and need to go back to fulfill that craving!!! Great fun and food!

Although an iconic restaurant, I felt the food was not very good. I had salmon and it was over cooked and tasted very fishy. My mashed potatoes were barely warm. The variety of veggies were very good. My husband's chicken parm was also over cooked and bland. Service was very good. Hostess was really nice even under busy busy pressure. Ambience is still all college. Wouldn't hurry back.

Best happy hour in A2, hands down. Great, attentive staff and unbeatable drink and apps prices. Never fails to be a good time at this spot!

I usually have to go with their pizza, which is second to none, but when I did get lasagna, it was also excellent.I noticed that even those who gave only 4 stars had no complaints (chalk it up to being in a university town). They deserve 5 stars!

It's been a while since we've been here. Generally disappointed Place was almost empty and we were seated practically in the kitchen. Fortunately they moved us when asked. Had the worst pan "Margherita pizza" ever. No red sauce. Just tons of cheese, anemic tomatoes and sprinkling of basal. Bland. When asked why it was made without sauce I was told I should have read the description. If it was listed as a "white Margherita"(more accurately) I would have read the description and ordered different. Just not the Cottage Inn I remember.
