Good food if you can get it. NY strip was notable. HOWEVER, With 1 exception, I've had pretty bad service here (focused on socializing with kitchen friends, forgetting orders, surly, absent), whether inside at the bar, or outside; whether during busy dinner hour, or when just 1 of 2 parties in the place, whether as a group or alone; from hostess across.

I really love their happy hour special. $10 for a smashburger, fries, and a Pilsner. Unfortunately they were out of several items that we ordered. I would stop here again for the happy hour special, other than that a standard really nice bar.

It’s gross. Not worth your money. They reel you in with the decor but their food is god awful and so expensive for terrible quality. Go literally anywhere else.

Stopped in for lunch with a group for lunch outside. Great service - burgers and fries were great - the shrimp cocktail were huge and tasty only critique is they didn’t have fresh horseradish but their cocktail sauce is extremely tasty with a zing. Worth a try for sure.

New date spot! My husband and I went on "Treat Yourself Tuesday" for honestly the best deal in Ann Arbor: a NY strip served with two sides, house or caesar salad, & dessert for $30! We were STUFFED and the food was amazing. Everyone here is super friendly and we were seated in one of the cozy booths. Our first kiss almost exactly 5 years ago was actually in the Down Bar which can get kind of wild late at night if you're into that (we are boring and old now so that's not really our vibe anymore).

We hosted an amazing 40th birthday party in the Pretzel Bell Captain's Room for 35 guests. We could not have been more pleased. Our bartender, Ella, was top-notch--incredibly friendly, attentive and efficient. The food was delicious and the bar selection was great. Thanks for a memorable night!

You walk to the location of this restaurant but it is not a long walk at all nice college restaurant atmosphere and closed booths and mostly quiet atmosphere.
