in from out of town. chose Tios over other area mexican places because Tios offers a few fish taco options.
ordered shrimp taco, mahu mahi taco, and cod taco.
mahi taco was too salty for me to finish, but other two were good.
SHRIMP TACO WAS EXCEPTIONAL.
highly recommend.

servers were VERY attentive. incredibly friendly.
love the EVIDENT teamwork they all displayed.

will return FOR SURE.

Great Mexican Bar/Restaurant. Great food. Awesome drinks. Bartender TJ was incredible, he was super busy but still had time to be friendly.

Refried beans tasted straight outa the can. Vegetables did not taste fresh. We ordered the churros and they were raw and doughy inside, we tried to tell our server, I think she was the manager, and she gaslighted us into thinking the churros were supposed to be that way. MID MID MID would not reccomend worst Mexican food in Ann Arbor.

Stopped in after some hard climbing at Planet Rock. They were open late on Monday night and tacos sounded good. The place was pretty empty which was nice since I didn't want to be in a crowded restaurant.

The tacos were pretty good. I wanted to try their fish tacos but apparently didn't have fish. Which is usually a good sign that they don't have just a bunch of frozen food waiting to be thawed. So got shrimp tacos, the monthly special, and the veggie potato taco. All were pretty tasty.

The shrimp taco was a bit sweater than I preferred. The monthly taco special was a whisky marinated steak street taco. It was pretty good. Probably the best of the three. The potato taco that is called "Papas taco" on the menu I believe, tasted good but was pretty light.

I also got a Tecate beer and it was a tall can for only $5, which was a pleasant surprise - I expected it to be more expensive. When I ordered the beer I was expecting a regular sized can/bottle.

Overall, the tacos tasted pretty good but the tacos are expensive. I'll probably go back.

Vegetarian options: They have the one veggie taco and if you are a pescatarian they have shrimp, cod and Mahi Mahi taco options. There are also other dishes that can be vegetarian as well.

Rare to find a patio in downtown Ann Arbor that isn't right next to the road! Loved that the patio was shady even on a sunny evening. Food was reasonably priced, not the best Mexican food I've had but not the worst. Drinks were delicious, especially liked the margarita with fresh fruit blended in. Had a few N/A non-alcoholic options, most were soda-based unfortunately, horchata was great though!

Tios is very pretty inside. The service was very poor. Dinner was lukewarm and average. I will not be going back. I used to like it there.
