Family-run restaurant with excellent home style cooking. Best Sichuan and Hunan dishes I’ve had in Ann Arbor, and they cater to a lot of tastes. Owners show a great deal of hospitality.
Genuinely an Ann Arbor gem. Go give this mom and pop shop your support!

Got takeout, multiple different dishes for a family style meal. The texture of all the meat was super weird and unpleasant. Couldn’t finish any of the food, ended up throwing it away.

This is authentic and absolutely the best around ! My husband and I have been eating here for years . The staff is efficient and remembers customers and their orders. Lettuce wraps are a fav and my husband loves their fries rice. Prices are reasonable .

Food is not very delicious to my personal opinion, and the chicken is not crispy. Soggy and unbalanced taste— too salty or sour, I barely eat them, and a little pricy

We are soooo happy we gave TK WU a try when visiting Ann Arbor. The food was amazing! I ordered The Broccoli Chicken expecting your run-of-the-mill experience only to have the BEST Broccoli Chicken I’ve ever experienced. You have spoiled me, lovely TK WU, and now every other version will be subpar.
The staff were also SUPER adorable. We noticed how cute they were with their regulars and wishing them well and safe travels for the holidays. LOVE IT! They clearly loved their guests and it was precious to see.
The restaurant was decorated in red for the holidays and walls were covered with pictures of what appeared to be friends and family. This place was so cozy it felt like being welcomed into someone’s home for lunch.
Definitely 10/10 recommend! We can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in the city.

can‘t understand why people rate them so highly. Very bad food and service. I stayed seated and was ignored for at least 5 minutes to get my menu. The food is not as good as what I cook myself. The roast duck is very dry, with a hard and burnt-looking skin. There are even feathers on the skin. I don't know how long it has been like this because the entire dish is cold, as if it was just taken out of the microwave. The price is also too high. I think they should really do some improvements on their cooking, service and pricing. And I am also confused why is there no authentic Chinese restaurant near such a large university?

Went to eat here solo and they completely ignored me, the waitress was sleeping in the back. My meal was originally $16 and they charged me a $6 credit card fee? I know most do 3% and I confronted them and they obviously got a little nervous and said that’s what they do now? Obviously taking advantage and wanting a higher total cost for a top since it was only 1 meal? The meal was not good & I have to keep getting up to ask for clean silverware, a straw, water refills, the check, even though I was the ONLY one in there at a point?
I had went there a couple of weeks before this with a groups and they charged the 3% which is typical for any restaurant.

They even greeted our Service pet warmly and openly. We had such a wonderful meal. We had to take some home because it was enough to feed a family. We look forward to coming back or ordering something for home. 🙏Thx again!

Flabbergasted how we ordered multiple dishes and every single one was pretty bad. Needless to say would not recommend, go to evergreen for decent Chinese food
I personally got the twice cooked pork which is popular among my Chinese friends at other restaurants, and it was very disappointing
