Absolutely loved it!!!
Have used for both takeout and catering.
We just ordered 100 tamales for a party and they were amazing!!!
The owner was super friendly and accommodating. Everyone raved about how great they were - enough so that some of us ordered takeout the very next day.
Highly recommend.

The food was highly underwhelming. The meat to masa ratio for the tamales should be illegal.

Now THIS is Mexican food. I lived in Texas for 6 years and I have longed for authentic Mexican food since I've been back. The flavors are on point AND they dont add cheese and sour cream to everything đ¤˘. Just onions and cilantro - just like it should be! I'm now pregnant and this has been a weekly craving for me. It hits every time! The prices are reasonable and my food is consistently delicious every single time. None of that Americanized Mexican food that tastes blad and awful đ. I appreciate you being in my neighborhood and I tell everyone where they can go for AUTHENTIC Mexican food. I saw a hilarious review where someone complained that they ate their entire burrito with no cheese. You obviously liked it đ. You ate the whole thing! Tmaz, keep doing what you're doing! I'll be by again next week!

I often get the barbacoa tacos. The red sauce tickles in the best possible way. I really enjoy the flavors of them and the tender meat with the cilantro and onions on top.
Another favorite are the papousas de loroco.
They have an excellent beef stew and the silkiest, cleanest menudo.
Horchata is also really tasty - a good pairing with the spicy and savory food.

great authentic food very reasonable prices. Their pico de gallo scores. Large menu that goes well beyond the usual stuff. Food is really fresh. Unless you need classy ambience or table service, this is the best Mexican I have tried in Ann Arbor. BTW, after you order they bring your order to the table.
False advertising.

Update 6/20/25
Well I came back to get a Hawaiian torta and some tacos and just like the first time years ago, still bad no flavor torta not even the ham had flavor, pineapple not even sweet, pork was just gross.
I got two tacos al pastor was steaw marinated pork meat, tortillas not even warm. How can a Mexican restaurant this bad can still open, Ann Arbor can do better
Went there to get some pupusas or gorditas and surprise surprise there is not meat....salsa is tasteless
They did not inform me they werenât putting cheese on my burrito. They claimed they were âfresh outâ after I ate the whole thing, realized there was no cheese and called them back to ask why. They didnât tell me when I called to order or when they handed me my food. Cheese is one of the best parts of the burrito. If I knew there wasnât gonna be cheese, I may have gone elsewhere or ordered something different. I had not eaten anything for a while that day, so I was excited to get something yummy but it turns out they were not being transparent about what I was getting. Not only this, but I was charged extra for adding guacamole. It doesnât make sense to not include an essential part of the burrito and charge me extraâŚ
