Apparently, this place has the most customers on the whole East Library St.; other than the authentic taste that comforted my Japanese friends' nostalgia, the passionate service impressed me most and will make me visit here again.

Lol the center of my takoyaki was cold
I had spicy beef ramen not sure what it was honestly, instant noodles might have more flavor than what I had
Disappointed because the atmosphere was good so I was expecting good food too

I have been going here for almost a year off and on and still love this place. The food is good, consistent, and the service is quick. I personally love the green curry. Its super yummy.

I went there expecting to enjoy the taste of the soup in the cold weather, but I was completely offended by the blended soup. In a word, it has no taste. I didn't expect the service or atmosphere from the beginning.

First time in Ann Arbor, decided to try this place out because of high recommendations. Had the tomukun pork bun, tempura shrimp bun and Asian wings. They all came out fresh and hot and was good. That's about all I can say for the appetizers. When it came to the tomukun Ramen and the house pho, I can say I've had better and was truly disappointed for a first timer. The pho broth was really plain. The Ramen broth was really bland. I'm only giving it 2 stars because the appetizers were good

Service was great and I liked the bustling atmosphere on a nice Friday evening 🌚. Prices 💲 were also reasonable. That being said, my karaage chicken 🍗 was way, way too salty 🧂!! I really have never experienced this before but I felt like I was putting spoonfuls of salt directly into my mouth 👄. I couldn't even finish my dish, which is a rarity for me!

We were originally on a 45-minute waitlist but were seated in less than 10 minutes on a Saturday night, which was a huge plus! The dumplings and Tako Yaki were delicious appetizers, and the Chicken Katsu was great as an entrée. However, do not order the Duck Udon. My husband and I couldn’t finish it because the seaweed and fishy flavor due to that was overwhelming. As a seaweed lover, I found it far too overpowering. Additionally, the mushrooms were undercooked, and both the duck and noodles were overdone. Overall, it’s definitely not a dish I’d recommend.
Otherwise, the service was fine, and the prices were reasonable.

The noodles weren't that great. It was kinda dry and bland. The meat was also dry. It was also really loud and the outside dining options aren't nice either.

Tomukun ramen was honestly mid. Good bamboo shoot flavor, tough pork, flavorless broth. Would love to see the flavor improve as the people are nice and the service was very smooth.
