The owner of the franchise is completely unprofessional. The owner will hang up on you and require you to reach out to door dash even though ordered through the Tropical Smoothie app. Take your money literally any other place.

### Disappointing Experience at Tropical Smoothie Cafe – Unreliable and Unresponsive

I was looking forward to a fresh start to my day with a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe, but this location completely dropped the ball on basic reliability. They post an 8 AM opening time, so I placed my online order at 9:10 AM for pickup, figuring plenty of buffer. By the time I arrived at 9:30 AM – a full hour and a half past opening – the doors were still locked, lights off, and no one inside.

Worse, they processed my payment instantly through their app but haven't issued a refund despite the clear impossibility of fulfilling the order. I've sent follow-ups via email and their support form, but crickets so far. It's maddening to have your money tied up with zero accountability.

The only saving grace was the lone employee shivering outside in the chilly October morning, doing their best to manage a line of frustrated customers. They explained that the opener simply never showed up, leaving them stranded without keys or access. Kudos to them for the transparency and professionalism amid the chaos – they shouldn't have been put in that position.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe, if you're going to tout early hours and seamless online ordering, back it up with actual operations and quick resolutions. This level of disorganization isn't just a minor hiccup; it's a trust-breaker. 1 star for that employee's effort; otherwise, it's a hard pass. Steer clear until they fix their staffing and communication issues.

Stopped in for a meal in the morning. Gentleman working was notably frustrated, and opening on your own can be like that.

Paid the upcharge to get a banna. It was split down the side in the bag. Not sure what happened, but the upcharge isn't worth it. The smoothie and dilla were good tho!

Turkey Bacon Ranch was delicious! Very clean and staff were welcoming and attentive!

Come here a lot cuz it’s right by my school, recently they never even know what it is I’m ordering, like they have to ask ME if the Sante Fe Chicken is a quesadilla or not (has happened twice with two separate employees.) I don’t get that pressed about stuff as long as I get my food, but today I went in and ordered two quesadillas (one for me and one for my friend) and when I got back to school I realized they had literally just given me an empty box with no food. I called about a refund and he said he would but didn’t give me any information. I better see that money back soon.

Do not go here if you plan on using the car side to go service. Should not be an option if people can't use it. Was almost late getting back to work cause they don't tell you that you have to come in to get it much less answer their phones when you try to check on the status of your order. I swear their drinks used to be more flavorful as well, seemed kinda watered down to me unfortunately

Here's what I experience every single time I come here
I get no side with the food even though you get a free side with an entree (not the premium ones )
I pay almost 10_12 $ and I get the smallest wraps ever for that amount , like stop being so stingy I pay for the food you should at least give me what I pay for. Other thing is that I order something and I get something else and when I told the guy he pulled the item from my hand even though I already ate from that mistake like I was robbing him or something
Worst tropical ever, I think the owner should really look into what the management is doing..
