We have visited Venue by 4am plenty of times over the last couple of years and have come to rely on the restaurant and events space for a reprieve from the daily grind. Whether it's catching live jazz or attending past New Year's parties DJ'd by what we can only call a Motown aficionado, Venue has it all, along with a great menu and bar. We are pleased to call Venue by 4 am one of our favorite neighborhood places.

If you're looking for an Ann Arbor escape without the downtown parking headache, Venue by M4 is a solid option, just ten minutes out or less.
I stopped in for a weekday lunch. The atmosphere is calm—it wasn't crowded, which made for a relaxed experience. The staffs were friendly and attentive, which always helps.
The lunch menu is priced fairly, offering good value for the location. The absolute must-order is the Boar Pasta. It was cooked perfectly, demonstrating actual kitchen skill, and completely lacked the wild, gamey odor that usually puts people off. It’s the dish to get.
Bottom line: I’m coming back

I never write reviews but I had to for OLIVIA B.!! We came for my Moms 51st birthday, and Olivia was more than outstanding. I have an extreme phobia of puke and a little girl at a table next to us happened to get sick at the table. Olivia moved us right away no questions asked. She was more than understanding and even let us move to outside despite it being cold and it probably not even being her section or open lol. The entire evening she did her best to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Best server ever!!

Came here for my bff’s bday —— there’s 9 of us at least. Overall this place was AMAZING! Ordered fettuccini and it was so delicious! They have LIVE JAZZ MUSIC so that’s another PLUS! I love how they used screens/TV to display most of the arts/portraits so they’re not showing the same art in one frame —- basically they have slideshows of arts. This place is like a tiny museum that you can have a fancy dinner for one, two, or group of more than 10!! Highly recommended! Will definitely come back! My friend had a reservation so there was no wait at all.
Enjoyed a lovely dinner date here! Our server was lovely and made wonderful food suggestions. We started with the most tender and delicious fried calamari's followed up with taco platter. We couldn't decide which tacos to order, so we ended up getting one of each. We loved their handmade fresh pasta (Torchio with cured pork sugo) and the pizza of the day! (totally forgot what it was) We ended our dinner with a nice warm brownie fudge sundae! Loved the aesthetic and atmosphere of this place!

This is a beautiful establishment. Service was amazing. Our waitress helped with recommendations and even helped do a “build a burger”. The Sour Cherry burger was outstanding! The flavors mixed well together. The Vacherin was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had!

Going to Venue was an amazing experience! The staff are extremely friendly including the general manager and chefs!! Not only was the staff amazing though, the food was phenomenal as well. I had went with the spicy cherry burger which had a sour cherry jam, applewood smoked bacon (not overly smokey either!), a fancy cheese I'm blanking on the name of and pickled jalapenos. All of the flavors blended so well together and every bite was just a whole other level of amazement to the taste buds. The patty is made from brisket, ribeye, and chuck so that was just absolutely amazing and super flavourful and could've been the burger itself!
