Chive pancake is a MUST. My boyfriend liked the dumplings - you have the option to get them steamed OR fried. I had the chili noodles which had wide and thick noodles with bean sprouts and cilantro on top; they were good if not the warmest. The folks working here were very sweet and helpful.

Beef brisket with tomatoes was very yummy! Pearl rice was super good. Mushrooms and bok choy also very good (not too salty or too oily). Lamb dumplings were a bit dry. Overall a very good place. A good new addition to Ann Arbor.

Whenever we visited Ann Arbor, we frequently visited this restaurant. They always served delicious food, and so was one of our favorites. Last evening was very different though. We ordered lamb dumpling, chili oil noodle, and fiery pot beef. None of the orders were as they used to be. The food was extremely bland, the sauce was not what we had before, the noodle and the beef dish were too sweet, and not hot at all. We have eaten these same food before, multiple times, they were unrecognizable.Interestingly, when we asked for hot chili oil to adjust the spice level, we were repeatedly shown sesame oil with seeds and told that "that" was the chili oil.I am not sure what happened to this place, which had a great reputation. Very disappointed.

Good food but waitress/owner was insanely rude and demanded we tip more. She chased us down in the parking lot as we were about to pull out. Night ruined. Never coming back here again

Terrible place. The old lady requested more than 15% tip after we left the store. She chase me down in the parking lot demanding 20% saying that it was the least amount. We won’t be back ever again.

Food was good overall but waitress demanded we tip more. I understand if there is a mandatory tip for the place, but add the fee to the bill. Not chase us down demanding more. Vibe was absolutley ruined ?
The food is just ok, nothing great or special. The delivery service and customer service is horrible. The past two orders have come with something leaking and a container of food smashed. The last time they put the smashed container in another smaller plastic bag to help with the leaking liquid. If it is ruined that much get another/new container or don’t deliver it. Horrible horrible service!

The food would’ve been ok if we didn’t find the tip of a ballpoint pen in the dish. I really can’t make this up. I was too stunned to take a photo at the moment. The metal tip with bit of plastic attached, like one chopped the tip of the pen off. They took the dish back and remade it. Another unpleasant thing was that as we were leaving, the owner challenged us about the tip. She said we paid too little and everywhere in the US people pay at least 15% for tip. I actually wanted to pay about 15% but added it wrong, so it came down to about $1 difference. But the whole pen tip incident and the owner’s attitude threw me off so I didn’t correct the tip. Wild experience.
