Very kind and fast service on takeout. Problem is I compare to Woody's Mediterranean which is a 5++ every time. I ordered the falafel sandwich. Another reviewer praised the crunchy bread wrap, but I found it cooked the lettuce and sandwich was rather dry and lacking flavor. Add some pickled turnip and some sauce! Where was the garlic? I guess the price was okay for this area. I'd still go back here to try other items based on other reviews, but have to travel to EL for a falafel sandwich.

Food is flavorful but it’s full of MSG which is unhealthy (must be an Asian cook in the kitchen). Weird coz before I never pass out after eating even small bowl, now it seems like all the time that’s why I can tell there’s more MSG on the food than average amount.

Does not look like much from the outside but absolutely delicious. The Tawook kabob was meltingly tender, the kufta was so flavorful, and the meat shawarma was amazing.

They were out of what I wanted but the staff recommended Batinjan Bi Banadoura, and it was delicious.

Food here is awesome, have eaten there several times but the service is poor/non-existent. I went in around lunch and there was no wait staff at all. Stood by the entrance waiting to get a table for 3-4 minutes, someone finally showed up behind the counter and didn't even acknowledge me. I walked out and went elsewhere.

Below, you will find my original review from a few years ago. I loved this place. Unfortunately, it seems that things have really gone south. I just paid $20 for hummus and veggies (I get it , inflation) but was just excited I finally was able to order food since they were so often closed when I went I tried to go. After diving into my expensive hummus, I am so disappointed. This just isn’t what it used to be. The veggies are fresh, but the bread isn’t. The hummus isn’t nearly as tasty as it used to be. Sadly, my love affair with Zammans has come to an abrupt end.ILOVE Middle Eastern food, so believe me when I tell you that this place is AMAZING! Dearborn may be known for their specialty in this particular food genre, but they don't have Zamman's! I've had their Fatush Salad, their Garden Hummus and their Chicken Schwarma. I've been to just about every Middle Eastern food joint within a 30 mile radius and this is the best.I would be remiss if I didn't also compliment their service. It's a small place but the one time that I had an opportunity to sit down for a meal, I was very well taken care of. Bottom Lin; Phenomenal food, great service and a fantastic experience. Enjoy!

2024 UPDATE:This once great restaurant continues to go downhill and they don't even care. They have hired a latina lady who is so rude. Her give a S factor is 0/10. She cannot be bothered to smile let alone serve. She outrightly tells you "come get the menus here from the counter and when you're ready to order come back here". For each and every single thing we needed to go to the counter to ask for basic things like cutlery, napkins, plates, etc. And the kicker is that our food came out all one by one taking its sweet time and everything was so salty and flavorless, it was borderline inedible. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants in A2. Now its utter garbage and a complete waste of money from service to quality and taste of food. What a sad way to ruin a good establishment.ANOTHER UPDATE:So it’s Friday evening and they just disconnect their phones. Been trying for half an hour and it’s constantly busy. Wow. Way to run a business.UPDATE:The food is great but there is a lady who works here who is rude and downright terrible with her service. She has single handedly insulted us and ruined our experience over there to the point that we don't think we'll be returning to this spot again. It was a great place and they previously had such a gentleman of a server who used to work here. But he left or they him let go (who knows). Ever since this lady and her crew took over the place the overall experience has gone downhill and today was the final nail in the coffin. We didn't even sit down and she already starts asking us what we'd like to drink. We found that odd but didn't think much of it. Then literally one minute later starts to hover over us asking us for our order. So we hurried up and placed the order. The food then appears in five minutes..and then we've literally taken 2 bites and she comes with the check and says i have to leave in a few minutes and then she gives me some garbage about how its some festival and that they typically don't serve people "this late". Its bloody 8:10PM!!!!!! I told her its effin 8:10 and she starts giving me some drivel about some holy day because of which they would've actually closed earlier but today they kept it open but then they stop serving 20 minutes before closing. At this point her half broken English combined with her completely unreasonable and rude behavior had us wanting to run out of that place. We paid, asked for boxes and left. Our daughter hadn't even eaten her mean completely and we were pretty much pushed out of this horrid place. This is it, its not worth it to go to such a place that doesn't know how to treat its longtime loyal customers. This lady should leave or she'll continue to offend other people and lose customers. What an absolute shame!!Great food.....one of the best Lebanese, Mediterranean restaurants in the area. Their food is consistently so delicious and their service is very good and courteous. I can't recommend this place enough. Their wraps, their soup, their kebab platter, their falafel is all incredibly tasty. Go on try it, you'll be happy you gave your business to such a good place.

Authentic, flavorful and fresh food! Their hummus is some of my favorite in the area. The ginger hummus and fulful (spicy) hummus are always packed with flavor! I love their falafel wraps and stuffed grape leaves, and their chicken tawook is tender and so tasty. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu!
