Zamaan has some of my favorites including the spinach pies and lentil soup. We love the owner, Ali; and his staff are fantastic. Have been eating here for years, at both locations. Highly recommend!

Use to come here years ago and now I'm back in the area I stopped in, they haven't lost any quality, the food is very fresh the service is great. The chicken shawarma is a go to when I want lunch here with the fresh lemonade

Stopped by for a quick dinner while staying at a nearby hotel. I had the falafel plate and it was delicious. The falafel was crisp and the hummus and salad were very flavorful. I will definitely return next time I’m in town.

Food was really solid. Chicken shawarma gets a noticeable dose of fenugreek, delicious. Good hummus, great garlic sauce, and their fries are exactly how I like them. The atmosphere is fine to middling, but that’s not why I would go there.
Ordered takeout, food and service was quick… but food was not good. Ingredients were not fresh, meat tasted old, bread was really tough and chewy. I wanted to like it but quality was not good.

Visiting my daughter at the University of Michigan I stayed in one of the local hotels. I wanted dinner, but not from a chain restaurant and opted for Zamaan Cafe. What a great choice it was! The place is unassuming, yet cozy. The owner, Ali, is welcoming and helpful when it comes to choosing items from the menu. But it really is the food that steals the show here: delicious, fresh, tasty and prepared fast. I had a chicken shawarma with pickles, tomatoes and garlic, a side of hummus and their famous cinnamon tea. It was a feast that I will try to replicate next time I am in Ann Arbor.

Nothing to complain about, quality food, on time with a smile. I would have preferred larger portions, but it was very affordable. Next time I'll order more food. Like I said, not at all expensive.
