We were not expecting a special limited New Year's Eve menu as there was no mention of it when we made our reservation. The prices were higher than their usual even though the entrees were not a level up from the regular menu. Our guest reported the lamb was very fatty and another said the special arugula salad had barely any cheese even though that was highlighted as a main ingredient. The service was ok but not very attentive considering it was 6:00 and only 5 other tables...
We choose Zola Bistro for special occasions. We had a wonderful server, cannot recalled her name. Great food. Love the environment always. I enjoy mocktails and I had a yummy one with blueberry.
The place was clean, food was good and a great atmosphere. While our server was great, it took a long time to get drinks and dinner. We were not in a hurry, but it was a bit delayed, so maybe just staffing issues.
