ordered the special with a burger, fries, and a beer. I said I wanted a diet coke, and the waitress said I could take the beer with me, and I told her I didn't want the beer just the diet coke. she said it would show on my bill as a beer. She charged me the special plus additional $3 for the diet coke. I asked the girl at the checkout if she could substitute the coke for the beer, and she said she didn't know about it and rung me up. the burger was really good, fries were ok but very skimpy. overall good food but higher than average cost os why I rated it this way. bill was $20

I've been to Papa's many times, for b'fast and dinner. Papa's is one of my favorite restaurants. Always great service , nice cozy atmosphere and prices are too good to be true. They have the BEST Blood Mary.

This place IS AMAZING!!!!! We just went here for a family member birthday brunch this weekend, and got right in. The cocktail list is extensive, a whole menu of breakfast cocktails, frozen coffee drinks, flights, lattes, juices, mimosa pitchers and so much more! The brunch / breakfast menu was great!! Not just the #3 with 2 eggs, choice of meat and toast. This is a TRUE BRUNCH restaurant that’s updated, trendy, fun atmosphere and staff, with out the metro Detroit prices!
We ordered- cheesy potato breakfast, an eggs Benedict florentine on a bed of hash browns, chevapi breakfast burrito, and the brisket bowl. ALL of it was completely gone and so good. Drinks we had, tiramisu frappe N/A, tiramisu and hazelnut latte, key lime martini, and Spanish coffee.
We will be back again and again!! It’s a hidden gem in a small town, that’s for sure.
Dietary restrictions: Celiac in our group and was easy to accommodate. They have GF English muffins and toast, or just swap out English muffin for hash browns like our guest did.

Just like the other posts here, our experience at Papa's Restaurant was outstanding! The restaurant was updated and looks great. The booths are large and comfortable and the tables had plenty of space between them. The staff greeted us with a smile and were very pleasant. Made sure we had everything we needed and kept the beverages filled. Food was excellent, cooked properly and had good presentation. Very reasonably priced. Now that we discovered this place, we will be back on a regular basis.
We visited restaurant today didn't realize we got there half hour before closing staff never rushed us. The staff was so friendly and the food was great. Will definitely come back when in town.
