The food was really tasty & the sausage gravy was some of the best I've ever had. But, the service was way less than adequate. Gruff & not welcoming it all. We tried to be pleasant and warm but didn't get any of it back. We were served luke warm tea that was never refreshed. So, while the food was worth returning for, the service will keep us away for good.
We've been here every year, usually 2-6 times a year. This most recent trip, the cook took great pride in the food, you could tell. The server was so sweet and helpful. Such a great environment for breakfast 🥞 with all that goodwill. And seemingly everyone is always so happy to see the baby, it's family-friendly.
Clean bathroom and easy off main roads.
