I have been wanting to eat here for such a long time, finally had the chance to. We had a group of 6, no wait, quick/friendly service from Hannah. I ordered the black & Bleu burger, unfortunately the patty was quite black and the amount of blackened seasoning was extreme. I had to scrape it all off the burger to make it edible. 4 out of the 6 loved their food, surf & turf cheese steak, coconut shrimp and perch were delish.

This place is phenomenal. Me and my partner have eaten here 4 times now and every time we have greatly enjoyed it. It is a bit expensive but worth it. I think this place may be one of the best restaurants in the entire area including marquette.

The crab cakes were really big and had a great flavor but had a sprinkling of salt and pepper on top that kind of ruined them. They were way too salty in some spots. The fish tacos were ok. The carrot cake was a weird texture but the frosting was amazing. The service was excellent and the salted Carmel beer was amazing. The atmosphere of this place made it. I’d definitely go back and try again before I made a decision.

I hate to say anything negative about such a staple of a restaurant. But my girlfriend and I went there not too long ago for burgers and drinks. Two burgers with fries, 2 cocktails and a beer. There were fruit flies flying around my head and 3 dead fruit flies in my beer. The burgers were just okay.
I'd like to change this review in the future but I don't think we'll be visiting again. We were really looking forward to the Brownstone.

We have been looking forward to dining here for a couple of years and were finally able to make the trip. Service was great, meal started our well with salad and au gratin soup. But unfortunately, both our diner entrees were inedible. The brisket was either so tough it couldn't be cut, or was disgustingly fatty. Steak also so tough steak knife wouldnt to thru it. Too expensive of a meal to be so bad. Told the waitress who was apologetic, but did not reduce our bill by the cost of the untouched meal. BTW, prices listed on website are not actual prices. Will not be returning and do not recommend this place.

Our server was great. The food great; and the atmosphere what you would expect in any good U.P. restaurant. The lake perch basket and lobster grilled cheese were built to perfection. The cocktails and beers were great as well. They serve an S.R.C. Burger which was my little league team!

We were here October of 2023 and it was excellent. We couldn't wait to come back this year. Unfortunately the quality of the food was lacking. My meet has the blackened walleye and it was so salty I'm not sure how he ate it . Not being one to cause a fuss he said nothing to the waiter but I definitely would have. The coleslaw which last year was so delicious with just a hint of horseradish was now so full of horseradish or was hot. For a $97.00 bill I think the food should at least be edible. Sadly we won't be going back in the spring when we are back in the UP
