“Finally found myself over in this part of town and got a chance to stop in. I stopped in around 3:00 on a Thursday afternoon, so it wasnt busy and I was immediately greeted by the guy behind the counter.

The menu at this place is fantastic so it took awhile for me to decide. I went for the the seafood gumbo jambalaya and it did not disappoint. WOW. The broth was savory and flavorful but not overly spicy and it was chocked full of shrimp, andouille sausage, crawfish, with some okra over rice. You need to try this!

The place is simple and clean, definitely setup more for carryout but there are a few small tables. I dined in and it was comfortable.

The staff (maybe it was the owner) checked in on me and even gave me a bottle of water. He was a friendly guy.

Bottom line: you need to try this place. I cant wait to come back and try some of their other items, like their Po Boys.“

“We had my daughter’s surprise birthday dinner at A plus yesterday. The staff did a wonderful job accommodating our needs including early seating for our several family members who traveled from across state. Our server was wonderful and did a great job taking orders for separate bills. Our food was quick, correct and absolutely delicious. This restaurant is a family favorite for us. It’s the best seafood in Michigan. We always look forward to our visits and will continue to come here for all of our celebrations. Thank you to our server and the staff for making my daughter’s birthday feel so special!“

“OK the chicken let’s talk about the chicken there’s six different krispy chicken locations within a 10 mile radius maybe more., idk but that doesn’t matter because I won’t eat anyone else’s ? but here at this location. It is so good!!Cleanliness is top notch.Customer service is top-notch, especially Frank. I love him, oh and I also love the female cashier , she’s quick , down to earth and she knows the neighborhood. Is her name tonya?So listen I went to the other krispy chicken locations and it’s funny but they all have a funny smell soon as you walk through the door, like a smelly 90° abandoned bodega … what is it ???? ??‍♀️the customer service is terrible,… they don’t even speak to you and if they do, you can’t decipher what they’re even saying because they don’t even try..idk guys I don’t like it remember it doesn’t cost to be kind but yeah, don’t go to those smelly, “bodegas”,, the best fried chicken and all of our needs and daily convenience store items are here at Kennett express . ?“

“First time trying their food and I’ve got to say I’m impressed.
The food at the window looks hot, amazing and fresh, the Mac and Cheese is awesome and the Chicken Alfredo is just as good.
Fried Chicken is some of the best I’ve had and I don’t even like fried chicken that much.
Will DEFINITELY be returning again to try their Wings and Potato Wedges.
Lady who took our order was nice and polite, even gave us information about prices and combo options.
If you’re in the area, give them a shot and you won’t be disappointed 🙏🏻🔥“
